It's a pandemic... which simply means that it has spread world wide. That doesn't make it any more dangerous than any other flu. As a matter of fact, it has killed fewer people than the "regular" flu does each year. "Someone" is making a bigger deal out of it than it is, in the hopes of frightening the people into getting vaccinations (or making it seem logical to make them mandatory). All in the name of the god called money.

Its called more like swine Flu here (im guessing both are the same..) and yeah, its pretty dangerous if not taken care at the right time. For more information on the virus and its details, you can visit the following link: http://www.medindia.net/news/healthwatch/Swine-Flu-Or-Pig-Flu-Facts-50604-1.htm

Yes, this is another kind of flu that is spreading fast killing many lives. This has been a great concern for many people worldwide. We should always take precaution in order to stop this deadly flu from spreading. It can wipe out the whole nation if the Government of that country is not taking serious action on this matter.

I don't think it's as dangerous as they say. They've hyped it up as a distraction to what's going on here in the States--they're trying to distract us from how they are destroying our Constitution. Aside from that and assuming I'm wrong, I think people are entirely too centered on their health--compulsively washing their hands all the time, afraid to touch doorknobs or share drinks and food. It's a sickness itself. I'm not afraid of the flu. I have never had a flu shot and only had it once in the past 40 years!

My opinion on this flu is that its not as bad as they are making it out to be. I had it and I was 7 and a half months pregnant me and my baby are both fine. She was born healthy and happy. It is an epidemic but thats because people arent listening to the guidelines and staying in when they have it they are passing it on to others. It is the same as normal flu but can affect you if you have certain conditions.

I still thinks it's a lot of hype over nothing. Every year the flu seems to get worse and worse. More people die from it all the time. Mostly because they don't seek medical treatment, or take care of themselves.

When it first came about and there was so much about it etc, it really scared me silly, but I have known people who have had it in my own village and to be honest I now think it isn't as bad as it has been made out to be..am not saying it doesn't have dangers to some but not to all and most are treated who get better and back to their normal lives, it really doesn't worry me that much...LoLo

The Swine Flu is an epidemic (or pandemic since it is global) and most dangerous for the young ones and those with weakened immune systems. But there are simple, yet effective, precautions that will minimize the risk of catching it. Such as frequent hand washing and covering coughs and sneezes. It has spread to nearly every country and there have been numerous deaths associated with the flu. It will pass just like the Avian flu and many others in the past. There is a vaccination available, although I don't feel it has been tested long enough. I hope it passes soon and that you or your children are not affected.
