I use all of those, but i must say there is nothing like a candal burning that makes the house more of a homely feeling.I also have an air purifier that i can put a perfumed oil in the water with that is great to get rid of cooking smells.I use air freshner if i just want something at hand to get rid of the loo smells after someone has been.I find some plug ins do not last long for how much they cast.So what do you use and why?

It is very well ventilated we live, so I do not need to buy lots of air freshener. I use the spray kind and it works very well to refresh the air and get rid of unwanted odours. Candles sound like a nice idea, I think I should try it.

I love candles as well. It is hard to find a good candle that sends a great smell throughout the whole room though. I use to use glade candles, but when a lot gets wasted. For some reason every time the candle is 2/3 of the way gone, it messes up and won't light anymore. Recently I've tried the new Febreeze candles and they are AWESOME! They last for a long time and they make the entire downstairs of the house smell great. They are a little pricy, but I guess it's worth it.

I use Lysol spray, but only if there's a foul smell. Normally, I don't scent the air.

I use air freshner to get rid of smells I do not like. I buy the cheapest brand and it works good. What the air freshner smell is gone I do not smell the odor I wanted to get rid of either. I use to us scented candles but I so many house fires that were started from accidently let the candle burn while people were out.

I have always used scented candles to freshen up the air in my home. I like the sprays too, but they just don't last. I've never really been crazy about the plug ins. Scented candles are still my first pick.

I just use air freshner sprays, and only in the kitchen of my house. I know that those products are not good for environment, so I try to use them with a limit. If I want to smell perfume, I prefer to plant flowers.

Yes I use plug ins, air freshners, candles and carpet feshners. I also like those stick difuser things as they really last a long time. I son't really like to mix scents though, as it gets confusing.

Dear friend, I uses air purifier and plug to get rid of smell and insect repellents. Mostly those air purifiers or sprays or scents I uses should be good in smell. I do like to have a fresh air always. Some of these are also not good for health especially for asthmatic people. Hence I would prefer most health conscious products.

Don't those air freshner ideas expose us to chemicals???? Sure they smell great but I wonder how healthy they really are. I'm told to bring a few pine needles inside is the green way to make the place smell good.

The air is pretty ventilated and fresh so there's no need for us to put on the freshner spray or air purifiers. I don't really like scented candles to be lit in the house. There's kids running around, I don't feel safe due to that. I also don't really like aromatic candles, it make my head feel groggy and dizzy.

I use either sprays or candles. I don't trust the plug ins at all. I have heard how they have started fires in the house. I like either Glade sprays or Febreeze.

I prefer candles but will not leave them burning when no one is home so I buy some of the air fresheners too. I just hide them : )

Scented candles a lot, especially in the winter months. I like Febreeze for furniture, because we have dogs. Apple cinnamon air freshener if needed, maybe once in a while

Wow, what a great question to ask! Well between some of family members always coming down with viruses & having cats in our house, for me I kindof prefer using Lysol Disinfectant sprays & wipes to keep things around the house clean. But I have although very rarly, have used Insence, Oils, candles, & always use just a little perfume every now and then to make the atmoshpere smell better. Not only does it make the house smell really good, but it also does keep the nasty stinky smell of the cat litter down, & keeps any bacteria or pending viruses at bay. It's really hard to keep your house cleam & smelling fresh & good when you have animals in your house but if you have young children, not only will your house smell great all day but you will help them to stay healthy too. Thanks for asking this question!

That is interesting you say. So tell me what about actually attacking the very reasons which create bad or annoying odors? I think keeping things clean and using proper ventilation will help much more. Now cleaning is fine but is so pleasant to have some nice fragrance scent you environment. I think fresh elements would do it, while keeping all clean, nothing like natural.
