Egg is included from a high protein and it's also have an unsaturated fat. Maybe consuming it daily is too bad since as i know it can make overwight and even make a diabete. It was stated that maximum eating an egg is twice a week. I always eating egg maybe just once-twice a week because of unfond. How about you mylotters? Lets share.

I eat it just once a week since eggs are high in cholesterol which is very bad for the health. But eggs are very delicious especially when you have it together with hotdog or bacon.

Hi Entrepinoy, I never try egg with hotdog before. Will sure try it out one day soon. Eggs indeed is very delicious and you can have many type of cooking for eggs! Fry, steam, boil and many others! Everyone asks about how many times a week we can eat egg because it's known that eggs are high in cholesterol. It's the yolk of the egg that contains the cholesterol. That's not the bad cholesterol itself. The bad cholesterol is the LDL, but the cholesterol in the egg can help to raise the bad cholesterol. What I suggest is that people consume daily the amount of cholesterol that is roughly in one egg yolk. So you can get cholesterol from other animal products. And so you would have to adjust the egg intake to try to stay within the guidelines of about the amount of cholesterol in one egg yolk, which is about 200 to 250 milligrams of cholesterol.

Hi huangdangwu: i agree with you. As some people says excesses are no good in almost everything. For example, our bodies need fats but you can not have a high fat diet or you'll have a cardiac arrest for telling the most obvious case. I know this sounds like a third grade class but we have to chose the right food to have a balanced meal.

I eat two eggs daily. I make them very different each day. Hubby eats 2 a day two. Make some home made wheat toast with it, and a good cup of strong hot coffee.

I eat eggs about 3 times a week. I like my eggs scrambled or in omelet form. If a person wants to eat eggs for protein and not worry about the fat they can just eat the egg whites. There are also plenty of egg substitute products in markets that are fat and cholesterol free. I only eat eggs during the morning. Sometimes (on the weekends) I may have eggs for lunch. I wouldn't worry too much about eating eggs unless a person is consuming more than 2 eggs a day. If you are eating 2 eggs per day and a total of 5 days a week, I don't think there will be a problem as long as you remain active.

Hi icecubic: i didn't know about this, i was thinking the opposite. Thanks for this information! for sure. I ate a lot of eggs, may be four times a week when i was a little boy. Now i can say that i eat them about once a week because now i'm "on a diet". Lol. XD. Well at least i consume a healthy breakfast nowadays and i try my best to do the same at night. Thanks for the imformation i found it strange but it must be true.

I eat 2 eggs a day per week. I read that eggs are not really bad. Just give it a good exercise and you have a great source of cheap protein.

Eating optimum number of eggs is a fantastic way for good health. This little wonder is packed with many essential vitamins and minerals. Egss are highly recommended especially for younger people. Most importantly they are easy to prepare and this is a big plus in todays fast paced world. I am read some research findings which says eggs are good for losing weight.

i think i eat around 2 or 3 eggs a week, sometimes i do eat egg for a whole week especially when i am tired of taking meat. i also prefer to take boiled eggs instead of fired eggs, fried eggs do have lots of oils and fats and that can really irritate my digestive system

I probably eat egss about two or three times a week and my favourite way to enjoy them is either in an ommelette or as eggy bread! I wasn't aware eggs were bad for you, presume they coulkd be in an english breakfast with sausages, bacon and black pudding! You surely can't go wrong with an eggm a good source of portein and cheap fresh food!
