Any ideas on promoting a blog?

A few years ago I started a blog and tried to promote it but, after much frustration, I gave up. I wasn't seeing the results I had hoped for. I tried using Google AdWords, but it got too expensive and the visitors were low quality. Does anyone have any other ideas on promoting my blog? Really, any ideas are welcome!

make PRESENTATION video of your blog..and upload it on YOUTUBE.com... i have done the same...and my website became very popular

there are many ways on how to promote your blog. but first, you have to take pride in your own blog before you go and promote it to others. ensure that the contents are interesting so that it can attract readers and unique visitors. one way to promote it is to spread it through your friends and family members. then, you can join communities in blogging world such as mybloglog. this community will ensure that you have an audience for your blog. just be active in the community. goodluck.

I suggest to book mark your blog in different book marking sites. This will provide incoming links to your blog. You can do yourself and encourage your friends to do so. If you are interested, you can create a 'Task' in mylot to book mark your blog.See this may help you. Happy mylotting.
