Where do you stand? Do you think that a mouse and a keyboard is better than a control pad? How does games for pc compare with console games? Would you rather spend on a high-end video card for pc gaming or buy a console unit? What is more addicting? Share your opinions with us and let us know why you enjoy one more than the other.

I think video games are a wonderful source of enjoyment and fun and a good way to pass the time and I am a big gamer and I do not know if I could survive without video games in my life, and I am the type that will still be playing video games when I am eighty lol, and I prefer console games because I prefer controllers and I also like the game selections you have on consoles and my favorite console is the X-box 360,even though I am starting to like the Wii which you could never get up and move on a PC game the way you can on a Wii game, but do not get me wrong I do like PC games and my favorite PC game is Diablo 2 and I used to play it all the time.

That is true different games call for different controls and it does depend on what you are into as the saying goes whatever floats your boat and I agree it is awesome slashing at stuff in Diablo 2 with the mouse and keyboard, and I hope you continue to enjoy your mouse and keyboard.

I think the mouse and keyboard with a high-end video card is much better because the graphics are very crispy and that you get to feel the thrill and frustrations as you play.

It's almost like RTS genre is exclusive to PC nowadays. It's because it is so much easier to control legions of armies with a mouse&keyboard rather than a controller.

well.. i would say computer cus new and better console comes out and the old one want have any new game. happen to me i had ps then ps 2 came out. then i got a x box since i like halo then xbox 360 came out and they stop makeing game for xbox . but for computer no need to buy a new "console " just need to spend moeny on vedio card. also computer has most of the game. and also most of the good RPG are on computer like WOW . but console are good . as if you have freinds that come over to house . then a console would be better as you can vs each and play team game. ( for computer you can vs each but is hard lol ) i think, i would say console games are addicted since in computer they lot of other thing you can do . if you were gonna spend moeny on it ? find out what you like ? and frinds think is better. if all your frinds has a compter with good vedio card .. get that so i can play with them and not lag . but for me i go with compter since xbox 360 came and and halo 3 is on it and i dont want to be xbox 360 cus i am poor. lol as i am try to find way to earn online. so i go with computer . but choose carefully and talk to freinds about it and think what would be more fun for you. hope i help :D

That is also my main problem with consoles. Computer games are computer games, you buy a new computer and you can still play the old games. You upgrade your computer you can play newer games. Unlike in consoles, PS games are PS games, when they don't release it for Xbox then you need a PS if you want to play it. This I believe is consoles biggest downside.

I like PC gaming. I can talk to people online as I play. Make new friends I otherwise would have never known existed. It really helps pass the time by.

Another great facet of PC gaming, MMOs and online games really account for most of the PC gaming population. Even poor children here in the Philippines beg money to be able to play PC games.

i stand for console.. the trend for PC gaming is fast. most of the games i want in PC needs a new hardware. and due to the tight financial reasons, console best suits me.

Nice point you raised there. But I think in the long run PC gaming is cheaper than consoles because you won't have to buy the whole unit. If you regularly upgrade your PC, then it's really not a problem. But if you already have the console unit, it definitely is more convenient because system requirements won't be a problem anymore. Thanks for sharing, happy mylotting!

i love gaming system. I think i have more satisfaction there. it made me feel i am part of the game. pc game wasn't that bad but sitting in front of a computer wasn't really my idea of a good game.

Thanks for sharing your insight. I do think that there is a distinct feeling only acquired through playing on consoles. Maybe it's because it is dedicated to serve the purpose unlike PCs who only added gaming as a feature.

I like to play on both, because there's some games that you don't have on pc that you have on the xbox 360 and others that you have on pc that you don't have on the xbox 306. I prefer the play Rpg's and strategy games on the PC because I'm more used to it while i prefer to play games like Halo 3 and Call of Duty on the Xbox. I don't really know why, I think it's a question of which one I'm more used to. Also, most of the games I play on the Xbox is because I can play with my friends. Most of them doesn't play on the PC.
