i was in france for 4 month and met a girl there..we lived together and we were madly in love. am now back in my country since one month, we promised each other lots of things, that we'll be together again, that our love will still be as strong even if we are far apart, that we'll meet again, i also started to make arrangements to go to her or she comes to me, but nowadays i find that its a bit difficult to bear the distance, am lost, i know i still love her but i feel she is not the same. she told me that she thinks we should break up as she no longer love me as before, that distance has created many problems, she doesnt feel the same for me...has this ever happened to u? what should i do?

although i have also in a long distance relationship, but it never happened to me. maybe her love to you is not as deep as you think, the love of her cant bear the challenge of the distance. it is also maybe the reason of giving up you. anyway, your situation cant determine all the long distance relationship. if she really is not belong to you, why you want to keep an empty relationship? all the best to you

your story is no different from many of us. although i heard long distance relationships that worked for the couples. but they are more of exemptions to the rule. ordinarily, long distance prevent lovers from connecting physically and emotionally. the technological advances of communications could not fill in the void of physical touch which we long to have from our lover. i have been to such relationship, and it did not work out.
