I have been living in New Mexico now for almost 3 years and today has been the coldest day ever. Its suppose to be like this for a few more days. At this time 3:00am it is 8 degrees. This is so crazy meanwhile back in New York its in the forty. I would love to know what is going on with the weather. I feel like climates are changing and I'm not happy about it at all. How is the weather by you?

There is nothing strange about our weather, it's cold and foggy. The only thing that is a little unusual is that it seems to be earlier this year.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it got chilly during the nightime and early morning. Here at this time its warmed up to only 31 degrees. I guess its better then 8 degrees but I still wish I was in a warm climate. A warm climate makes me feel so much better and more alive. Thanks for responding and enjoy your weather.

Yesterday I didn't even go to the mailbox. The mailbox is like 5 houses up the street. I went today but its still very cold but the sun is shining today so that helps alot. Its only going up to 32 degrees today. This is like what New York's weather is suppose to be like meanwhile they are in the 50's. I'm beginning to think the climate changes are happening all over the states. I need to move to a an all year warm climate. Thanks for responding.

Hi Lelin, you scoffed I believe when I told you about my friends in New Mexico getting regularly snowed in so start getting prepared. Climates are changing despite the spate of anti climate changes discussions on here. In Greece we are now experiencing the end of four seasons and the beginnings of just two, and the worst two at that, summer and winter. One starts as the other finishes. We have blips as we just had two weeks of great daytime weather but that is actually a normal feature of normal winter weather here but once it changes and gets bad it can keep it up for months now, instead of an odd week.

I think it depends on where you live in New Mexico. This is my third winter here and I have never had to use a shovel so I hope that continutes. Thanks for responding.

8 degrees is very cold!!! Brrrr!!! It's very cold here, too. Right now, it's 39 degrees outside! I don't like it, either. The main reason why I don't like it is becaue I can't ride horseback when it's this cold. Some people like to ride when it's this cold but I was taught not to because horses can be very frisky when it's this cold. I'm trying to take care of myself by not getting out in the cold too much because I have a solo in the Messiah Monday Night and I don't want to get sick. Kathy.

I have been in New Mexico in the summer and it can get very hot out there in the summer, can't it? What part of New Mexico do you live in? I have been to Albuquerque, Gallup, Carlsbad, Fort Sumter, and a few other cities. I can't remember them all. I really do like the west. Kathy.

I'm in Rio Rancho which runs right into Alburquerque. Yes this pass summer it was very hot that I really couldn't sit outside for very long. Its a dry heat but it was extremely hot. The two summers before it wasn't that bad at all.

Hello lelin this climate change had been predicted long before by our scientists and environmentalist and it is finally came. This is due to too much of our carbon footprints and environment abused. There's lot more changes to come..what about the ocean rising due to ice melting at Antarctic? Would that be alarming? Don't you ever read the news about Solomon Island? Sea water are already rising at their places... Well in our own country we never experience that because we have a tropical climate but the typhoons we experience nowadays were stronger than ever before...even our weather forecaster can't anymore predict the exact status of the coming typhoons..and I know there are more unusual changes on our climate to come.... We must just be cautious always and be alert.... Mobhomeir..
