urban living - love living in the city

I enjoy living in the city. I like how urban living makes me feel independent. I like the fact that even if it is late, the city is still alive and bustling with activity. I like how I can walk to the nearest mall, have coffee at a nearby Starbucks, choose the best night spots and travel by train, by cab. Despite the pollution, the slums, the pick pocketing, for me, city living definitely has its own charm. Don't get me wrong. I love my hometown in the province. There's just something about the city that makes me miss it when am on vacation for awhile.

I like the village more than the city. In contrast to the polluted environment of a city the village has clean air which I consider the most important. The divine serenity a village embraces immerses one into a deep meditation which binds him with the Nature God which is exhilarating. Perhaps due to the boredom I am suffering for the last 28 years which makes me think like this but I feel the difference whenever I visit the village which is my mom's birth place.

I live in the city and only lived in the country for a couple of nights when I went to visit my aunt's house in the countryside. It is very quiet in the country, which is what I like, but it is inconvenient when it comes to shopping and seeing a doctor. Anyway every coin has two sides.

I am the opposite. I love visiting big cities and stay for like a week or two and go back to a more relax and quiet place. I am not comfortable in a very hectic environment,I get stress easy for some reason!

When I was a lot younger, and was in University, I used to live in the city. Even after I graduated and started working, I stayed in the city. I used to love it because of the convenience of having everything around within reach. I used to drive to 24-hour restaurants at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning when I got hungry. Now that I am a bit older, I appreciate being in the suburbs. Close enough to get in and out of the city, but away enough from the noise and anything dangerous.

Thanks. It's the convenience basically on everything that makes me appreciate living in the city. As for settling down, I agree that it is best in the suburban areas. :-)

I am still studying and I live in dorm. Because of my strict parents I have to live alone in a room. Noise is the first thing that I hate about it but I like to see people walking around and sometimes waiting for them to trip :D I don't indulge myself into bars and clubs even though it is so tempting :D The thing is city is livlier at night and that is what I like about it :D
