I enjoy sleeping on the floor. I somehow get a nice sleep when a lie on the floor. But when i try to sleep on a bed I don't get sleep properly. I am unable to understand the reason for that. Do you also sleep sometimes on the floor?

Hi, cudamani. Yes, I have fallen asleep on the floor plenty of times. I will wake up to realize that I am on the floor. I will then get up to lay down in the bed. I can't sleep on the floor, my body dislikes it. I have slept on the floor at my in laws home for four whole months, and it was not comfortable at all. My husband went out and bought an Air Bed. And boy was I happy! He spread a foam mattress on top of it for extra softness. And it was very soothing then. I have back problems, so sleeping on the floor would not be such a great idea for me.

I do not sleep on the floor, but I know people who do. People with certain back problems are sometimes able to sleep more comfortably by lying on the floor than they can in sleeping on a bed. My back problems make it hard for me to get up from the floor, but I have a hard time sleeping on a really soft bed. I sleep better on a mattress that is really firm. Sleeping on the floor, or even some couches, is very good for your back in most cases though...

I love sleeping on the floor too and it's pretty nice and comfortable. Especially, I enjoy it in hot places. But I don't think I can sleep on the floor in the mountains.

I have slept on the floor but I've never beenable to get a good nights rest that way. Whenever I do I always wake up with a really sore back so I actually try and avoid sleeping on the floor.

I also been sleeping on the floor until my doctor warned me not to sleep there anymore. The floor is cold and you can't ignore that because your body has direct contact with it and it might clogged your bloodstreams someday. It will not be noticable at first. Better use matresses or carpet to prevent these :D

Hi. Haha, sometimes I'm also sleep on the floor. But for me the most important thing is I must sleep at home if I want to have a good sleep. If I'm travelling, it will take me the next day to get a good sleep. First night will be my most suffering night because I can't sleep.

I sleep on the floor too.I don't do it willingly though.I don't have a bed,so I have no choice.Sometimes I sleep on the living room couch, but I don't sleep well there.I like the floor better than a couch.I don't have a bad because I can't afford one.I have trouble finding one that is comfortable and that doesn't hurt my back.

i guess its just personal preference. some of my friends sleep on the floor because they say it's cooler lying on the floor (i meant cool: cold). I never understood them because the last time i slept on the floor, i got sore spots the next day.
