Ever since I have had a computer I have collected animations, animated clip art, animated names and smilies and I used to send amazing emails with these animations that I had collected, for birthday, christmas or just to cheer some one...but all of a sudden animations are not recognized anymore in emails ...anyone have any clues on why this is..I just wish they would leave things alone instead of getting newer all the time and along with extras we lose things as well......I say let us have animations in our emails...

Ohhh no! I was just going to download incredimail so I could use their neat animations like I used to years ago. You know. one of my favorite quotes is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

yeh I said that to my tech and he said it has a lot to do with security and I know he thinks incredimail is a big no no he talked two of my friends not to have it when he rebuilt their computers he said it is one of things that really do take over your computer..so be careful.

I know that anything with that much movement would tend to slow the computer down. However, I have used it before and didn't have any trouble. I know how hard it is to keep our computers working correctly but still, I think we can be too scarred of doing things. Sometimes we just have to take a little risk.

I think that is so neat. I have not collected much of anything since I have dialup internet service. I am afraid that it will bog down my computer too much if I store or download alot of things. I am afraid of a virus also.

When it comes to anamation in e-mails anymore you need a cirtin code to read the text and turn it into this code. What makes this evven more difficult is the recipent also needs this code. Sometimes it depends on the website you're using to send the anamation. But if you're coppying code girectly there is a good chance it won't work. Its still possible, just a little more complicated.

I guess you would have to Ask Alice, she is helping with admin now. She should be able to give you an answer.

You can't even get/send them in attachments? I do agree. I just get used to something and they change it on me.

Hello my friend lilaclady Ji, I think, it may be due to change in server. But these animations play important roll like boiled food and added with condiments/salt etc. Wishing you a very happy Chrismas and New Year-2010. May God bless You and have a great time.

Ya you are right mydear friend, we should have animations in our emails but we have to make sure that we should not use that for the official matters... and you know what? animations reflects our characters (for eg. if you are wild person you like wide animations) and let us maintain only decent animations and not the dirty one:-)

My email hates animations (for some unknown reason) if I am sent an email with an animation it nearly always crashes, perhaps this occurs too frequently and they're trying to curb the amount of animations sent?
