Luckily i was stuck in a big farm house, where i went for giving guidence to a farmer who want to grow jatropha plantation.... That was very beautiful night and one of the memorable night in my life..spendindg in between trees in night time and beautiful moon light on head..birds and animals sounds [it is nearer to forest area]cool breeze surrounding and hot scotch in throat with some forest birds on fire making as spicy roast... Can you share your's....

Hi Balu Really your new year eve is memorable. Actually i too love to spend my New Year eve in a calm and serene atmosphere where i can enjoy birds' chirps and animals cry early in the morning with trees around. Luckily I am living in that surroundings only, where our house is a very big one with a big compound all around and in which lots of fruits yielding trees, lots of flower yielding plants and trees and medicinal plants and trees are there. Every day I used to see lots of birds making different noices perching on the trees which gives me immense pleasure

Areee Balu, I had planned so many things, planned to watch 3 idiots, Go to a disco. But all ruined, I couldn't planned anything, finally I took a DVD of domestic dram plays from my colleague, watch it till 2 am. Prepared 10 copies of that DVD and gifted to my other colleagues in new year day.

Mine was spend with my inlaws, I was the designated driver so I was just kicked back watching everyone else act silly. Sometimes its fun just to sit back and watch everyone and listen to everything that is said. It wasn't something big to remember but it did make for a pretty humorous night.

Was wondering what happened to you, as you weren't here for a few days. I always worry about people, isn't that funny? Sounds like you had a terrific night. It made me homesick for where I grew up. It was a rural area with fields and woods. Nights with full moons were magical, listening to the breezes in the trees and other nature sounds, which change depending on the season. We had a quiet night at home. My step-daughter had to work that night. Sometimes if the restaurant she works at isn't busy she gets to come home early, so we stayed around for 'that phone call'. Unfortunately it didn't come. I did notice the full moon that night, it was beautiful especially as it was reflected on the snow that's on the ground. Happy New Year Baluyadav to you and yours!

wow! looks like you have a great experience in that place...its always a joy to spend some time with nature and see its beauty! with me, its been a rainy day for us here in my place, earlier i attended our church worship services, and someone invites us to have a lunch in their house...and in the evening, we also spends it with some of our friends who invited me & my husband to have a dinner with them, and we stayed in their house until midnight..having some fun singing, talking and laughing...we also watch some fireworks but its only few due to rain... but all in all, its been a happy and fun night for us...and yeah memorable!

Just like any other New Year eve, I prefer to spend my countdown at home. I prefer to avoid crowd. Not that I have any kind of phobia of crowd, but I prefer not to have to squeeze around and in between individuals to get from point A to point B, and sweats through the evening. I spent my New Year eve watching movie on tv and eating chocolate cake. Yeah, there was no firework, but I appreciated the quietness and personal time.

Wow you have a very unique and exciting Dec.31st night. For me That date was my birthday a double celebration as usual. We just stayed home enjoying the different fire works and displays around taking their place below the moon and stars light up from the clear blue sky. We enjoyed different holiday foods and friendly drinks too. It is a night that is worth sad remembering because we are not complete as a family for the first time because of work and other priorities.
