People's stupidity never ceases to amaze me!

I shouldn't be surprised or amazed, but this was the act of a person going to college. I got a brand new telephone today from a friend of mine, who is going to college. She got it a few weeks ago and complained that the reception was horrible and that no one could hear her. I just took a look at the telephone and found out what the problem with the phone was. I almost hate to admit that I found the problem because it is such a stupid mistake. The hand set was plugged into the line in slot. DUH! She plugged the line into the hand set hole. HUMMMM maybe that could make the difference? I was kind of intrigued because the hand set didn't sit in the cradle properly, and then I got to looking closely and found the error. So, I got a new phone because of someones lack of thinking and reasoning. What things have happened that makes you wonder about people's intelligence? Let's face it, every minute of every day there is someone out there that is doing something not quite so bright, lets share the dim bulbs actions.

Some people are so dumb that I am actually amazed how they have managed to survive for so long. The dimmest bulb I know is a girl who used to attend my college. The airhead thought that Florida was in France, Portugal was the capital of Spain, and was surprised when nothing happened after she put on a pair of 3-D glasses in class

some people may be dumb but they are really innocent and by accident there activities turns to be funny..but at least we get a reason to laugh or a reason that gets a smile on our face when we are sad.

The most intelligent person in the world may act dumb sometimes [I got a funny face of Albert Einstein for proof] I am extremely hopeless with car parking tickets and keys. I always lose them. My best record is 3 times a day with the parking tickets and 4 with keys. I don't have any problem with remember other things but this. Poor me. Glad that I am not the kind of dumb that can bother other people.

I have a problem when I get a new car. I lock my keys in it for at least 6 months after I have bought the car. I've gotten pretty good at jimmying the lock on cars. But one of the fun times was with my Acura. I always buy used cars, and had gotten the Acura but there was no owner's manual with it. I had allowed my son in law to borrow the car and he managed to break the riser on the power window on the drivers side. That night he came home with two pieces of bad news, he broke that riser and he also ran over a skunk. Great, I had to drive to Stanford University Hospital the next day. My daughter made the trip with me, and of course I did my usual thing of locking the keys in the car. So, I undid the tape holding the window up and reached in and hit the auto door locks. We opened the doors and a car alarm went off close by. We looked around trying to figure out whose car was screaming...after about three minutes we realized that it was MY car. As my daughter and I would always say when we would do something dumb "And we're going to college WHY???" To salve your soul and your lost keys, quite awhile ago a gentleman posted that his sister flushed her car keys down the toilet! I laughed like an idiot over that one, and even printed it out. It sounds so much like something that might happen to me...

Some people just don't pay attention what they are doing. Maybe they are not stupid, but they don't want to think. i have seen people who didn't know how to read after graduating from high school, I am not surprise.

I once had a friend who couldn't figure out why her phone wasn't working, she had the handset plugged into the incoming line - and the wall to phone into the handset - and they DIDN'T fit, she actually BROKE the phone doing it -

I have a sister who is stupid...she is intelligent but when it comes to love she fall for the wrong guy and even if we tried hard to let her know the huge mistake she's going to do...she still do it. Now she suffers a lot being a single mother.

Hello, Toni. Years ago, I knew someone who was a nuclear physicist or something like that. He was highly respected all over the world, and had done top secret work for governments. He had a holiday home near us, and one day, he put up some shelves. As soon as he put his heavy books on them, the shelves came crashing to the ground, taking half the wall with them. He came to see my ex husband, baffled as to what had happened. He'd just screwed the shelves in the wall where he wanted them, without plugging the wall or anything. He may have been an adviser to governments, but he hadn't got a clue about real life.

I have found that some of the most intelligent people in a certain field are not quite with it in others. I bet if you had mentioned "studs" to him, he would say he wasn't interested in hunky guys.

LOL. So there were these guys fixing the roof of my mom's house. I'm pretty sure that they were friends of the guy my sister was dating at the time. One of them I kind of knew becuase I met him WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND a month or two earlier. I guess he wanted to get my attention because while I'm standing in the driveway talking to sister's boyfriend, he goes "Hey watch this!" He then proceeds to attempt to propell himself off of the side of the roof, from a sitting position with his legs dangling over the side, into the giant dumpster filled with torn shingles and nails! His trajectory was way off. When he pushed himself off, the gutter gave under his weight and the force of the pressure. He then fell onto the edge of the dumpster landing on his back, and you could tell it hurt bad. He slid down into the trash and rolled around in the nails. HE then had to make several attempts to get himslef out of the dumpster, because honesly no one was helping because they were too busy gawking and laughing. ONce he was able to roll out of the trash and onto the cement he rolled around on the ground crying like a little girl. He then refused to go to the hospital. His mother came and got him. While he waited on the curb I brought him some ice, he grabbed my hand and tried to act like he had game and asked me what I was doing later. Just as I'm saying "don't you have a girlfriend?" his phone rings and it is a personalized ringtone of "Lets stay together" by Marvin Gaye. Somehow I didn't think it was his mommy calling.

I have a good one. My daughter works for a JC Penny call center. A customer called up one day stating that she paid for something at the JC Penny store with her JC Penny credit card, why did she get the bill in the mail? Can you imagine what a dumb question. She has so many stories concerning dumb customers she can't believe how these people survive in this world.

I can't help but smile on other's stupidity but i have to admit that I have my stupid moments as well. So many that I couldn't remember any of it. For those who have shared their experience with other's stupidity, thank you it made me smile.
