oh does his pedia did not reminded you about what food he should eat?? for 9 months, he can eat now for solid food like meat. he can eat eggs but not the white until your baby is at least 1 year because of highly allergenic

My kids doctors said yolk is fine at that age, but don't give them the white because there is a bigger chance for allergic reaction.

It really depends on how many teeth he has. At 9 months babies can pretty much eat anything as long as they can chew it. I would avoid peanuts or other tree nuts, seafood, honey, and egg whites.

When my children were that age I gave them all kinds of food. What I mean is I made a chicken or meat soup, put all kinds of veggies and cooked them. Then I would put them in a blender when they couldnĀ“t eat minced food. As soon as they had teeth, I minced it in small bits. Before I gave them the soup, I added a teaspoon of oil ( olive or sunflower). I did not give them legumes unless I took off the skin passing it through a colander. I did not give them cawliflower either because they would have gases and it would make their tummy hurt. I hope this helps.
