How do I get my child's socks to stay on!

I have a baby and it seems that no matter what pair of socks I put on him, he manages to wiggle his way right out of them. I thought maybe putting shoes on would help, but he got out of those in less than a minute! So... do any of you veterans have some advice for a new mom? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Maybe higher socks. If there falling off of him higher ones should stay up - or at least on long enough for you to tug them up before they fall completely off the little feets. lol As a kid I absolutely hated socks, but less so when there higher. If they cover most of the leg I think it makes them less irritating/noticeable.

I noticed the same thing with the higher socks. I can see that they are getting pulled lower and fix it before they fall off. I don't know that they irratate him. I think he's just starting to discover his feet and wiggles them around a lot and the socks get lost in the process.

It's tempting. Sometimes I can't find the lost one and now I have 10 infant socks with no matching mate!

well when our daughters were younger, we always got footee pjs for them but you could also get them some type of slipper that would stay on their feet.

We do have some footee PJ's. They are great! He's just growing so fast, that many of them are too small now! I saw some slipper bootie things at the store that maybe I will try. Thanks for the help!
