Hi, molotters! Do you remember your first diary notes? I started my first diary when I was a kid. It was very interesting adventure for me. I was spending hours to write . . . My first diary notes were : " Hi! If you're reading this you're gonna explore all my world. Everything you've ever wanted to know about me is here. Maybe you'll be shocked, maybe you'll be impressed! Reading this is on your own fault!"

I started my first diary when I was in primary school. I still remember my father once gave me a very nice leather-cover diary. I liked it so much and would write in it every night before bedtime. My diary was very childish then. It was more of reporting than journal writing. LOL! However, as I age, I began to really keep journals which I would be careful not to leave it to the scrutiny of other pairs of eyes except mine. However, this habit didn't stay with me after I started working life.

Wow! You must be a good writer since childhood :p Well regarding your question, yes I can still remember my first diary and each time I will read it again, I just cant help but laugh at my old self. Writing on my diary during those days was one of the ways I helps me rid off my insecurities.. Now looking back at those old writings, notes about my 1st crush, as to why he dont notice me the way I want him to, my failures, worst high school experiences; I am now so proud of what I have become... My diary has somehow helped me ease my pains and frustrations and has also helped me ponder on my self and improve on my actions. I believe I would not be the person that i am without my diary, since each time i accomplish something great i tend too look back at what i was thru those recorded memories in my diary. I would still laugh about it. But i would also be proud of myself for without those experiences i would not really be the person that i am now.

Oh, yes! I recall very well. All the crushes I had and riding the horses across the street in the pasture. It had a key and lock opening thank goodness or I wouldn't have gotten into so much trouble, especially in the summers. I rode horses bareback and searched for rocks in spots my mom wouldn't have liked me being.

I started my first diary shortly after my father passed away when I was fourteen years old. I was going through a very depressed stage of my life and it seemed that putting my feelings on paper would be a good way for me to get through that period of my life. I can't remember exactly what I said on the first page, but I know that I kept it up for quite some time and I was able to get through the depressed state mostly due to the fact that I was writing about my feelings on a regular basis.

yes i do remember my first diary note which was about my love at the age of 19.The things which i recollect are like this.I was happy about the college day celebrations and in the mean time i was also happy because i saw my love coming my way.I always used admire her from far only but never could able to talk to her.If at all i ever talked to her was about studies. On that day i was only spending my time looking at her and it went on like that.So that was my first note in the diary.

I began diary notes from 14 years old, not by daily, depending on emotion. If i feel unhappy, depressed, excting, or i make some progress on my life, i would keep diary. Now i have had 7 books of diary which recorded the times of my life from my middle school time now.Sometimes i read them, just for fun, you know.. i found out i cant know about myself, and very confused if i was such kind of guy? It seems i'm a stranger to myself.

I have kept a journal off and on as a kid too. And now keeping one in my adulthood as well. Trying to pass the skill onto my daughter too. We have started keeping a mother/daughter journal. She really is getting into it.

I remember my first diary! I was so enthusiastic and I remember going through countless pages as I wrote my first thoughts on to that page of A4! Initially I wrote my diary using my favourite pen but since then things have changed a lot! I now keep a diary online and I think this is a far better way of keeping a diary! There may be others that still like to keep a diary using the traditional method, there's nothing wrong with that. I love typing and so by keeping a diary online well, this also hones my typing skills! I have always had a love of writing and from my personal diary I have gone on to write a few articles which I've had published online. I've tried my hand at short stories but have found this quite difficult. I love to try and be creative with my diary entries! I remember reading the diary of Anne Frank and I received a lot of inspiration from her writings. Keeping a regular diary is the best thing you can I think. You can return to it many years from now and see what you got up to during the early days! Andrew

If I recall, my very first diary entry was about seeing a very cute little brown bunny rabbit munching on some grass not far from where I lived back in the day. I remember that bunny...so cute, with its twitchy little nose...and I remember when this group of boys rode their bikes up to it and scared it away. Stupid boys. lol

My first diary I received for Christmas 1977. It was a 5 year diary, therefore space was limited. However, I continued to write in it and have had diaries ever since. I am now 43. Most of them are page a day diaries and I am currently blogging them all. A mammoth task my friend!

Yes, I remember my first diary, it was at secondary school, i writed all my ides, my feelings, my passions, i was speaking about everything, my friends, my family, my crushs, my classmates, my ennemis xD. When i finish it, i kept it on a corner (hiden in a old bag) and when i read it and remember all this things, it makes me laught, it's very funny to see the girl you was in the past and compare it to the woman you are now. But sometimes, i become nostaligic when i'm thinking to my past so i throw away all my diaries, it's a sort of "Good Bye" and a way to starting a new life.

Wow it must be great to read through the notes from those years. You have all your memories stored. I have never been able to start a diary. I tried it but after few days I would just stop writing.

I remember starting a diary when I was a teenager.I remember all I wrote about was some boy I liked back then.Of corse it was someone who didn't know I was alive. That's what teen girls write about in their diary.

I had one from the age of 12. And when i finished school it just went missing. Whoever took it, must still be ashamed from what they read, because that diary contained potent material. Me and my sister had a very imaginitave time with our diaries.
