My daughter has this kitten who is almost 6 months. since the day she brought it home from finding it in snow in the woods, he thinks hes a dog. at first, it took a few days to get use to us, all it did was hiss, and run. now, it is so friendly, so I think she rescued it in time. My question is, he doesnt like cat food but human food, all it will eat is what we eat, even if its chips! He will get on two hind feet and beg, he will give paw, and if you have food and he is asleep, he will know for here he comes. My granddaughter had a banana and he attacked her for it. I know this isn't normal, but is it bad for his digestive system? How can I get him to eat cat food and away from human food? We tried all kinds and he does eat the treats, but thats it. He is due to go to the vets next month so He can get fixed before he sprays. And He beats up the oler cats and goes out to chase other dogs.. I do plan on discussing this with the vet. But until then, what do I do?

Maybe you need to keep him separate from the other cats until you can get him to the vets. My cousins dog used to think he was a cat! He would lay on the back of the couch and rub against your legs like a cat would! Maybe if he's acting like a dog you can teach him to obey like a dog. Use treats and other food to show him right from wrong. Or at least when there's food around put him in a different room until your finished. Good Luck with everything!
