Fluoride supplementation is not required for children 6 month to 3 years if fluoride is present in drinking water at 0.3ppm.. Teeth development begins long before the teeth actually appear. It is important that children receive the appropriate amount of fluoride from 6 months onwards to aid in development of strong and healthy. The most effective way to ensure that your child is receiving an adequate amount of fluoride is to make sure he/she drinks fluoridated water from 6 months onwards. The majority of bottled water products are not fortified with fluoride. If your child is not drinking fluoridated water, he/she may require fluoride supplementation... that's my observation, how about yours?
