Are We Living in Hell

Hm.Well,I don't know if people are more violent then they were before.Looking back at the history, thinking about wars,Inquisition,people chopping heads,torturing slaves..People are cruel.Still.The civilization doesn't change anything.But I have to admit that things are getting worse.I hear from young people that God is fake, there's no God,money buys everything and all you need is just to be rich.Being good, honest is old-fashioned."Good" becomes a synonym of "loser".The poor souls are poisoned by media which shows them fake happiness and fake freedom.You know,I would call it "free from God" movement.Don't be afraid, God doesn't exist, you can do what you want.Imagine a nation with such a way of thinking.Creepy!

I read the topic of your discussion "Are we Living in Hell", and a thought instantly came to my mind. You see in the holy book of Bhagwad Gita( the sacred book of Hindus), the central character Krishna says that in Kaliyuga(the present times comes under Kaliyuga according to Hindu chronology) the moral stature of the world would degrade to an all time low. Theft, crime, rape, killing etc would be common and the people would tend to be self centered and selfish. It seems that his prediction has come true.

I think those are very interesting thoughts and ones that are not alone. There are a lot of people that think that hell could be right here. If that's the case though, we at least know we won't have to be here for eternity. There are also people that believe that sins are paid for while we are here but sometimes I wonder what in the world I did to be exposed to the things I have been. Must have been pretty bad is all I know.

I know that we do have lot many problems around the word like Corruption, poverty, crimes and the most dangerous is terrorism. Everyone knows that India is one off the countries fighting against terrorism from long back and there is no result. we have lost many soldiers, police men and a common man without any reason. I have spent 29 years and I do feel sometimes like it is hell although I have not seen hell but there is an imagination, if we have these problem on the earth how it would be in hell. can not really compare but the condition is really bad around us. let's us do our part, do our best to protect the humanity and help in all way to the people we can. I love helping in my capacity and hope that god will give me more strength to help others. May God help all. Be happy and forget about hell, no one has seen that. Feel good and be good :)

Acttually in this world we find the heaven and the hell. In this world we get the taste of heaven and hell. Honesty, sympathy, Love, help are effect of the heaven and poverty, crimes of all kinds are the sign of hell.

yeah youre right,,as days pass by,, it becomes more and more delicate to all of us to go outside our houses because a lot of bad guys are waiting just like hungry wolves, to hunt for their next victims..not only that,,our environment..my goodness,, its totally polluted..there are no more trees to shed, no more fresh air to breathe, no more lands to cultivate because a lot of buildings and subdivisions were being constructed..its sad to say but ,the paradise that god has blessed us just went into waste..instead of heaven, it turns out into hell..

Yes, we are living in Hell, a hell that has been created by us. greed, corruption, environmental destruction, poverty, hunger, rage, hatred, religious fanaticism etc have all led to creation of a situation that resembles hell./There is no hell or heaven in the afterlife but everything is there on earth. It is our mind that is the vreator of the devil and also creator of the angel.Saints, sages have learned to control the mind and channel it Godwards and those who have come into contact with them or have been influenced by their teachings have found heaven on earth and those who have come into contact with evil minded people have creatd hell for themselves and also for others.How does one control the mind? by the sincere and religious practice of Yogic meditational techniques one can conquer the breath as well as the mind. There are hundreds of yogis who, hidden from the sight of man are doing their best to help mankind , but the forces of evil are also doing their best to thwart their efforts and create mayhem.Every individual has to make every effort to fight against evil and injustice because as the numbers grow so will the beginning of the end of evil start and mankind will be able to create heaven on earth.

Read your history, the only reason we know about all the terrible things humans do to each other is due to the power of communication. No matter how bad it seems now there are many wonderful things transpiring in the world today. Get away from the headlines and read or listen to the wonderful things in science, medicine, kindness and generosity that are taking place right now in this world.

For me, God brought everything to help us live peacefully[heaven]. He laid every guides to help us BUT human is so destructive. Crimes and so on, are all created by human. I asked myself before about IF God really is powerful and everything is at his will, then why does crime, calamities and killings persist in society?. I was embarrassed to myself to find out that the answer is HUMAN. Yes. Everything depends on his will but Crime, calamities and killings and many problems in society are all the choices the humans made to satisfy no one else but himself. Are we living in HELL? It is our choice.

There are too many crimes in this world.I agree with you.but I think living in hell just like our thought,we didn't satisfied with this world.so everything just seems like a bad things.But I still think we need to have a warm mood.help people,let other people can feel this kind of warming things.so our world will become better.

i think you just need to lighten up a bit.. you probably feel that way because you don't feel good about the things around you. and depression is a serious serious condition.. you are not in hell and you are still alive the first time.. just find something that will enhance you spirituality. you can try bible studies or other spiritual preference.. this does not mean you have to be religious its just that it can relax you from the stress of POVERTY in this world.. beware poverty sometimes can cause serious conditions =)
