When I go to sleep I need quiet. I would like to turn off my mobile phone. Especially I am going to fall into sleep. After finishing the call I don't feel sleepy. Sometimes I forgot to turn off I was woke up by the sound. It is midnight, It is not easy for me to sleep again. Of course when I get up I might forget to turn on it at once. How about you? Would you like to turn off or still on?

I used to off the mobile when it was new.But after the I listen songs while sleeping. So I just keep it on.When I about to sleep I will off the music player alone and the phone. It is not good to off the phone while sleeping. We can just put that into silent mode while you sleep. If anyone sends a message and it can be a important thing. Then there can be chance of that message not delivering to you ,if your phone is off.So it is good to keep it ON or changing the profile to silent mode.

Hi,gany15k, that is a way to deal with the sound, and can not bother you. When you get up you can check it and don't miss the message. That's good. Have a nice day!

Hello! When I go to sleep, I do not turn my phone off, I put my phone on silent mode. There are many reasons why I am doing it, I can tel you some. First, because my friends can call, or sent me a important messages. Second thing, I have set a alarm on my mobile phone. It is alarming on morning when, I need to wake up, and go to school. Third thing, I don't think that mobile phone consumes more battery when it is on, so I am not turn off my phone when, I go to sleep!

I have to turn mine off too, because if I hear any kind of noise while I am asleep it will wake me up and I will not be able to go back to sleep for a long time.

Why don't you keep the phone in some sort of 'meeting-mode'? Like, no sound, no vibration, just flashing display perhaps. I too hate having my sleep disturbed, and also I'm kinda person who have a trouble sleeping as well. Although, when I turn off the sound and vibration, I have no problems if the phone itself is on. You just gotta remember to turn the sound and vibration back on in the morning, which I often forget :P Happy myLotting, and hope you have a good sleep!

I would love to turn it off, but in my line of work, I cannot do it. My work is a 24 hour operation and every now and then, someone would call me in the middle of the night to ask for something. That something would always be a "problem" in which I can have suggestions on how to fix it. In short, I on-call 24/7 and no turning-off cellphone at night.

When I have no work for the following day, I will turn off my cellphone so no one can disturb me. Also, I heard that too much exposure to cellphone signals which is somewhat like radiation could cause cancer. To lessen the exposure and since my phone is next to me in bed, I turn it off. But if I have work for the following day, I will keep my cellphone turned on because it serves as my alarm. Ordinary alarm clocks won't wake me up so I use a cellphone because it also has vibration to wake me.

I keep my phone on vibrate during the night, because I am a good sleeper. I don't get too many calls during the night, but occasionally I will wake up from a call, but sometimes it is important news. I never turn my phone off, because I am too lazy to roll over and check the clock on my radio, so I just get my phone from under my pillow. It might be a little weird that I keep my phone under my pillow, does anyone else do this?

My cellphone is always on, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I want it turned on so that in case of emergency, anybody can contact me anytime... My husband is also working abroad- different country, and He wants my cellphone always on too. He most of the time calls anytime -- without schedule...

In the past, i used to turn off my cellphone before going to bed but now, i don't do that anymore because i receive professionnal calls always in the morning never in the afternoon so i don't have to miss these calls. And now i am use to always use the alarm clock in the cellphone to wake me up. ^^

I don't like to turn off my cell phone, I don't know when any member of my family or friend can have an emergency, and will call me. Most of the time I can sleep very well at night because I really never receive any phone call that late, I think if you tell your family and friends that don't call you late unless it is an emergency you can leave your cell phone on.

I usually turn it off, but sometimes I forget to, and when that happens, sometimes, some people call me in the middle of the freaking night, and if I wake up in the middle of the night, I cannot sleep again, so yes it's very important for me to close my phone.

I keep my phone turned on all day even before I go to sleep. I don't want to miss emergency calls, too.

I take my phone with me to sleep. I leave it on my nightstand, on silent. I recently read that people who sleep in the same room as a computer or cell phone don't sleep well. I don't remember why but I started leaving the phone in the kitchen at night and I sleep better. Although I still bring my laptop upstairs with me. Sometimes you just need to be left alone. I feel like if it we an emergency they would call the house.

Most of the time I turn off my mobile phone before I go to sleep, so it can save on the battery and I don't have to charge it the next day. But sometimes I was too tired and forgot to turn it off. Even when it is off, the alarm function of the phone will still sound as I'm using it as alarm clock.

i would like to turn on while sleeping.there are two reasons: one is,i don't want to miss any emergency call, especially for my family. for the second reason is that i'm afraid i couldn't get up on time, so i had to open the alarm of my mobile on. good luck and have a nice day!

Hello there :) I never turn off my mobile phone. I always keep it on, so I'm sure anyone that really needs me can reach me anytime of the day or night. My friends never call at night if there's nothing serious happening so they don't wake me up just for a chat.

No, I keep my phone turned on at all times, even when I'm sleeping. What if there's an emergency or urgent message, I can't afford for my loved ones not to reach me. I am not usually bothered by persistent calls, so there's nothing to worry about when I go to sleep.

I would prefer turning it on 24hrs, My husband works overseas, we have different time zone, anytime he will make a call that is why I can't turn it off for a purpose of giving myself a good night sleep. Taking a call from my husband is enough to make me alive the morning after...:)
