Hello, I read a whole lot, but recently I started thinking if these books have had any impact in my life, and certainly maybe in a sort of way have changed my way of thinking. I read a whole lot of plays, Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde are my favorites! And I must say that their ethically poetic way of writing just fascinates me and transports me to another world. What has been one of your favorite books (or author) and why you think it has changed you?

I read a book called "Past Lives" and that changed my life, so much so that I contacted the writer and went to a seminar he gave so I could learn how to become a Past Life Therapist.

I read on a broad range. I am always reading something... often having 2-5 books in different locations to pick up and read while I'm in that area.... (except that changes now I bought a sony e reader yesterday. Okay to the point, I have recently finished Sarah Palins book. It was fantastic. I wouldn't say it changed me, but it was very interesting and moving. I already appreciated Sarah Palin and her stands, but to understand her meaning behind her views, beliefs, and politics was very very interesting. If it changed me at all, it reminded me that family values should come first, never lose sight of that, and always be true to your own heart, stands and beliefs no matter what the public thinks or chooses to think.

I think the book that affected me the most was Choke by Chuck Palahniuk. He is now my favorite author, and that book was the first I ever read by him. I read it about a year and a half ago now, and it kind of put into words a lot of the in-articulatable ideas I had floating around in my head about society. Reading that book, and other by that author has inspired me in many ways, including to start writing and journaling myself.

One of the books that changed my life a bit was "To Kill a Mockingbird". I started treating people with more tolerance. I also started looking on life in other way - good way. I enjoy my days more and tend to smile more. It was an awesome book and I can read it again and again.

Hovel in the Hills by Elizabeth West. It's about a couple who quit their mainstream jobs and go and live in the Welsh Hills. Very inspiring.

Well, I can't thing about a book that has changed my life but there are a couple of books that have shaped me as a person and that still have big influential on me. Firstly maybe it sounds not seriously but I must say the Harry Potter books. I started reading them when I was 10 and for more than 10 years I have been growing up parallel with the characters from the books. A lot or less they really taught me some things about dreaming and how important is having friends. At 12-14 I was very anti-social and these books helped me in some way to find friends. Secondly I want to mention a Bulgarian writer called Chudomir. His novels are really funny and I love them. He wrote much about Bulgarians and their spirit. It's always fun to find yourself in these funny characters and to laugh at yourself.
