I am wondering if most of you are like me. I wasn't popular in school, I was just the average girl. I came about this one after passing through a blog of such an ordinary girl wanting to be popular, she had been working so hard on being popular to the point of giving up her virginity at the age of 14 just to be part of the cool ones. It's sad really. I never really cared about who's popular and how to be one. I just existed in my own world and didn't do anything to be popular as well. Now that I'm older, I see the once-popular people making bad decisions here and there, though others were successful, majority were average, just like me Where you popular in school? What did you do in order to be popular (if you did)?

I was not popular in school. The only time I was on the verge of being popular was because of my older sister. She was two years ahead of me, and I was always known as her sister. When I think back on it now, it wasn't me who was popular, it was really her. They knew me as so-and-so's sister. I guess I was satisfied with it because I didn't really care whether or not I was recognized. Mostly I just wanted to get good grades! At college I wasn't popular either, but I think there are many more important things than fitting in. It's really sad the things people do to be accepted. I'm glad I didn't fall into any of those traps. Peer pressure can be convincing, but I'm grateful for the wise choices I made in high school and college because they really do affect us for the rest of our lives!

yes i was in some fields. may be a bit in studies and quite a bit in football. but overall, i think i was very reserved and introvert kind of. popularity goes hand in hand with extroversion, more you speak and speak well, more popular you are. well, that was not the case with me. But yes, when it came to sports, i played with so much passion, things spontaneously came out of me, and yes i was popular there.

I was the bolder one and not disliked by anyone as such. The 'belling of the cat' used to be my responsibility - asking for a free period or complainging about a particular student etc fell on my shoulders!!
