talent or intelligence?

Sometimes, I wish I were as talented as those people on TV who sing, dance, plays musical instruments, paints, etc. I think I don't have any talent like those and I envy those people who make a living out of their talents. It seems that they enjoy what they do and life becomes easier because they're talented. I'm more of the intelligent type and I always feel pressured because people expect me to be good at school and get a good job. Which do you prefer? Being talented or being intelligent?

I would rather have intelligence than talent. Usually, talented people become celebrities and become popular. But popularity fades away. But intelligence does not. An intelligent person can become more successful, if not, for a longer period of time than the person who is talented, because an intelligent person can give more creative ideas and make sound judgement that would lead to promotion. I believe that a boss would rather hire and promote the person who could offer a more creative and logical plan than the person who couldn't make a clever idea but could dance, sing and act very well.

i think if given a chance, i would also pick talent than intelligence... every one of us studies in order to upgrade our intelligence but it would be useless without talent.. formulating a meaningful speech is good, but delivering the speech with talent is much better... ^_^
