Good Day Everyone! I just want to share to you my experience in cebupac. I was supposed to have my flight to singapore last march 10 till march 14th., but unfortunately something came up then it got to the point that i need to cancel my flight or an option to re-booked it. since i had no specific date that time on when i should go or the best time for me to file a VL (vacation leave) again ., so i choose to cancel it which badly cost me 5000 Php (pesos) ., and one thing that makes me really pissed and sad is they don't have any refund when you cancelled your flight. they put up a new policy about this "travel fund" wherein you only have 90 days to decide to booked your ticket to any destination whether local or international ., minus the Php5,000 (for cancellation) and the insurance i think. so all in all ., let say my ticket cost 10,700 ... and the only thing that's left in my travel fund is like around Php3,600 ., (Grrrr) ... i was so upset when i heard it ., but can't really do anything about it. It's a lesson to learned now. not to booked a flight if you are undecided cause it is very hard to rearrange it if ever there will be a problem with you schedule.

That is really sad but unfortunately every time we book a Cebu Pacific Flight, it is clearly stated in the purchase of the ticket that it is not transferable and not refundable. We had almost the same dilemma because for our flight to Palawan for our El Nido trip, Ondoy had devastated Metro Manila and we were contemplating to cancel our flight but once we have learned that we will pay more fees for the canceling of the flight, we decided to just go on with the flight despite the unpredictable weather.

yeah, we will be paying more for cancellation ., that is really sad on our part ., what's a matter with this airline companies ., why they don't wanna refund our payment ., what if there are instances that we need to cancel it due to emergencies ., that is so unfair. they should return it to us.

oh sorry to hear that...but i think the same thing happens to our friends here but its just a local flight. they bought a ticket on promo but they are not able to use it coz their trip was canceled as a result i think they were not able to refund the ticket as well and they also pay a bigger amount which i think even higher than the price of the ticket that they bought... coz i think they base it on the regular price instead of the promo amount.

yeah that is right ., local flight is really cheap and the amount of cancellation will cost you Php 2,500 per route ., so if its roundtrip ., it will cost you Php5,000 ., its a big amount ., so be very careful the next time.,

Yes. That is the problem with booking online. It is cheaper yes. But it is also riskier. Online bookings usually are nonrefundable. That is why my family and I always just stick to our travel agency when buying our tickets. At least, they can extend our deadlines and give us refunds if we decide to change our minds. I also tried riding on Cebu Pacific four years ago. It was such a horrible experience. It was my first and last time to ride on Cebu Pacific.

That's too bad. I guess it's worthy to read through the agreement first before purchasing any tickets. I think a lot of people just go make the purchase only to find out later about hidden policies that would turn you off if you are made aware of it right away. I guess lessons learned i be more careful next time.

yes you have to be more careful in purchasing a ticket especially if you are not really sure about your flight schedule ., cause you cannot refund it or maybe you end up paying an amount higher to your ticket ., so be very careful.
