Just wondering - why they chose "mylot" as the name

Oh dear! Lamb! I am in for some "sarcasm" I suppose - what can I say. :) So there was a discussion on this already? :) I will have to check that one. Thanks as usual Lady Di. :)

Yeah - exactly Saphrina. :) I didnt have the guts to write that. I thought everybody would pounce on me if I wrote something like that. :) I thought we should be assigning some meaning to it Saphrina. :) I mean it should be a new word that gets added into the dictionaries. :) Dont you think that is a nice idea? :)

I need some adjectives before friends. :) We have to be more than "only" friends.

I think you are right Hatley. :) May be it was started as a way to help others share their problems, and make others who are suffering realize that god didnt single them out. And yet others come up with brilliant suggestions. On the whole a very good site. And sorry - I think this discussion might just get deleted because somebody else started something like it. That is what Diana, Lamb, Life, and Professor have told me. :) I do think your response deserves the attention though. :) Have a nice day Hatley. :)

I couldnt agree with you more. Diana and Lamb have been guiding both newbies as well as oldies like me. :)

I wonder how they would react to being called moderator even if it comes with "a good way". :) Actually, Diana has been a great guide. :) And I have read many clarifications that Lamb has given to others in their discussions. We do have problem in interpretations at times. Though the present discussion was truly my fault and I cant hide behind that excuse. :) I didnt use the search function, and I read through only the topics started by a few of my friends out here before starting the discussion. :) Anyway, I am grateful to both Diana, and Lamb. And also to many others like Dawn, Thea, Owlwings, Hatley, GAA, ... the list is endless. :) Without them, I would have been given the marching orders ages ago. :)

Yeah, It's like they are somewhat acting a s moderators here in a good way other than being active members. eh?

Yes Buchi, that is what mylot seems to me. I can discuss my joys, my sorrows, my financial problems, my emotional problems, and likewise I can share my experiences so that others can look at them as solutions. And I might just find solutions to my problems as well. May be it is what we bring to table may be. :)

I have to admit Opal it is cute name. They could have said mylife, myworld, and such things. But mylot seems the most refined. :) I am sorry Opal. I believe somebody seems to have discussed this not so long ago. So this discussion might be deleted.

Myspace is understandable, it kind of brings up exactly what to expect. Unlike that, the word mylot leaves the thing open to conjecture. Dont you think? :) Sure - so lot is a piece of land, but lot could also mean, many many other things. :)

Hi khalida, somehow I like the word "crazy" nowadays. :) It makes me feel so liberated. :) In someways, mylot does liberate me from my anger, my frustrations, and my inhibitions. It is not exactly sympathizing that makes sense to me. It is looking at another person's problems and then thinking god spared me that pain. And then trying to help the person around their problem. Many brains can solve many problems, faster because they bring their experiences as well those of their friends and relatives to the table, isn't it? :)
