Is Peru : still of interest or too touristic to Learn Spanish as volunteer?

Hello! I learn spanish and i think to visit Peru as volunteer. Is Peru is too touristic i will speak english there or practice some spanish, like i need?

I am chilean. You will learn Spanish at any Spanish speaking country in Latin Amrica. Don´t do to the Caribbean, of course: that is too touristic. But in the rest of South America there´s no problem. Peruvians have a beutiful accent and pronunciation so it will help you a lot to go there.

I agree completely, Marguicha, I'm argentinian, and I think any Latin American country is good for learning spanish, as long as you don't stay in places too turistic where everybody speaks english.
