Send him back or let him stay?

A while back, some cops shot a 15yo kid in a park. Apparently he was gambling with is friends and the cops thought he had a knife or something shiny and was threatening. Its in courts now to find out who's guilty. They made a big fuss over this and you can tell the kids (2 sons) must be part of some street gangs. The older son had been in trouble with the law for a while. He was stopped last week driving recklessly and he had drugs on him. They arrested him and now want will deport him back to his country. Some say he should stay, the majority say he has to go. What do you think?

What a story, I never heard about this story before. Why would kids be gambling in the park in the first of all, why would a cop be threaten by a shiny object that wasn't directly oppose to him. Most of these problems goes on both end of the stick, in my point of view they are both wrong.

I have NO idea why they gamble in the park but its illegal to begin with. As for cops being threatened over a shiny object...maybe it was because the 2 brothers were together and the older one was already known to police, having been arrested many times before. Its still in court, so we dont know yet if the cops will be found guilty or not. As for the older kid, the judge ordered him deported!! Thank you!

I say kick him out of here...we have enough so-called "illegal immigrants" here as it is. Let him go cause trouble in his own country. That will be one less thug we have to worry about here in our country...

My thoughts also. We pay for so many already in prisons, one less to worry about. Thanks!

It used to be policy, I thought, to deport people who engaged in criminal activity if they were not citizens. I think it needs to be done.

Yes it is. Thats why the judge ordered him to be deported. But now they're saying its unfair and they bring back the story of the younger son who was shot. They're contesting the judge's decision. So they say it could be years before he's deported and Im not sure if he'll be in jail all this time (our money) or let free to live with his family and do more illegal things. Thanks

I think he should stay until he learns his lesson. Some kids just don't know how to learn it the easy way these days. If it isn't enough then i think the only option is the hard way.

I think he's in his 20's and he's been arrested lots of times already. Thanks
