What would you tell a friend who constantly can't find someone to settle with

I have a friend who just seems to can't find someone to settle with. I told him everytime he confides in me - and mentions one of the persons that he has been with- that he has too many lovers that I can't keep track of them. I often tell him that he needs not to rush in anything, because that's the main reason his relationships last a weekend or a few months at most. I do listen to him and try to advise him accordingly or maybe I should give up since he seems not to listen at times.
