Do you beleive that there is cheating in the last May 10, 2010 election? What can you say for our first automation of election. Di you go to in the process relaxed or you are sotck in long lines. Fo me automation election is have our election more credible than the previous . Its nice to just shade you ballot and then put in the PCOST machine waiting for confirmation that your vote is counted.

I'm not from the Philippines so I don't really know about your election, so I looked it up on the internet. I don't know if what I've read is accurate or not, but if it is, it appears that there was cheating.

the credibility of the elections had proven by the end of the canvassing and the proclamation of the winning candidates. but i still believe, in some ways, there were cheating. see my discussion about this: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2312937.aspx

Well as far as the allegations are concerned there is not one evidence that really proved that there was. The vote buying is an old practice done before and I guess the automation cannot do anything against this old practice. I guess there was no massive attempt to cheat and there were attempts to cheat but no major cheating happened to really make this election not credible.

I believe there was still cheating in the last election. The threat of vote buying which is still a form of cheating is still very much strong. I am amazed by the speed of the election because of the help of the PCOS machines. Almost all precincts had long lines. I too believe that the 2010 election is more credible than the previous elections.
