Well the Tea party is trying to break the strangle hold the Democrats and Republican have on the politics here in the States. Some people believe they will be a valid political party others are saying it is just a group of radical, racist, angry, people who are wanting to be heard. I'm not sure what to make of them, I'm not the type of person to look on to news see a story replayed hour after hour and believe everything that is spewed over and over. After meeting a few self proclaim tea party members, it dawned on me they really have some very valid points, are intelligent, are not racist with saying that I also notices they lacked severe organization, and some people were acting just like chickens without heads or can have various beliefs system.. What are your feelings on this? Finally is there a political party that is actually the first ever that is truly for citizens first. Or just a good thought but not intelligent enough movement and it will soon be dumped by the waste side?? Or will the media make the tea party look like a insane group of angry idiots which will make people stay away from them so they never pick up ground???

Well, you can expect anything from such organizations. I recall a political play that recently took place in our country. Actors of one of the famous theater decided to create a play that would imitate political debates in parliament and in the end of the play there was created a fictional new party, that revealed the disadvantages of existing political forces in our country and made fool of these parties. Although it was just a play, it caused a massive response from the community and made our politicians change their behavior and attitude towards multiple problems and topics. If such play, which wasn't aimed to create a new opposition to existing political forces, could create such massive effect, then you can expect anything from that Tea Party you're talking about.

I believe the Tea Party movement is very real. Whether or not it survivies remains to be seen. But I hope it will. Legitimate Tea Party Patriots, as they are called, believe what the founding fathers believed: that each individual has the right, as is granted by Almighty God, to live as free men and women. And that they have the right, as is granted by the Constitution, to govern themselves rather than be ruled by an elite few. They are angered by an oppressive government that spends their money without restraint and forces them to buy into a government run healthcare system that is unfair because it is unconstitutional. They are angered by a government that tramples and smothers their First and Second Amendment rights while claiming to uphold a constitution that in no way gives them the right to do so. They see the country hurtling dangerously down the road to Socialism and they know what the founding fathers knew: that if they are to be free men then they must stand up to their oppressive government and demand that freedom. If we are to be free we must take responsibility upon ourselves for that freedom; delegating that responsibility to an elected government only makes us slaves to that government. That is what I believe and hope is the true meaning of the Tea Party movement.
