clumsy?

Are you overly clumsy - no matter how much you pay attention? Are no not larger then average but always bump into sides of doorways, people you walk next to on sidewalks - and painful corners of furniture or dishwashers? Do you concentrate when playing softball or other sports but are still unable to make contact with the ball? Or are you very nimble and surefooted?

I am a clutz...and so are my kids and grandkids...my youngest granddaughter bumps in to everything...I do think it has something to do with paying attention....she is thinking about the next thing she is going to do.

Trying to be very very perfect makes me edgy and clumsy at times.

HiArtemis, No I am not clumsy but one of my brothers is. You could have an empty room and one drink on the side and he would spill it, he was forever braking arms and legs as a child falling out of trees or off of bikes and even as an adult he has had his share of accidents. Huggles. Ellie :D

I wonder if he has dyspraxia. I can't ride a bike now without really getting used to it. Even then i'm wobbly - so the phrase - its just like riding a bike - doesn't apply to me!

when i was younger, i was very clumsy. In fact, i could not even trust myself to hold fragile or breakable items. However, as i grew older, i became better at what i did, even walking. I would not longer slip and fall, bump into people, drop things that sort of stuff. I realized it has something to do with insecurity. The more secure one is in life, the less clumsy they become. Well, maybe others are just having it as a weakness but mine was simply insecurity which i overcame, thank goodness!!
