I used Kaspersky Internet Security, but my comp still attacked by virus or worm, i dunno. It makes me grumpy. I didn't download anything, just surf the net. I thought Kaspersky was a good antivirus and firewall software. Btw, anyone have some recommendations of good firewall software?

Well kaspersky having good firewall but if you want a free and better firewall.. you can try Zonealarm and Comodo firewall.. Both are free.. Use Zonealarm if you are not deep technically sound as it takes decision automatically where Comodo is used for detailed technical information.

as what other said, just frequently update your antivirus coz virus creator also always update their viruses. Dont rely only on firewalls.

Comodo Firewall. This has been tested and proven to be one of the best free firewalls available. It is even better than all the others you mentioned in your question. If you're using kaspersky internet security, it will have a firewall built into it (I hope it is up to date and you have a valid liscense, if it is not get another program) All internet security suites are composed of basically 3 parts, Antivirus, Antyspyware and Firewall. Im guessing that you paid for Kaspersky internet Security, If this is the case just open the program and look around for the firewall options. You will find it somewhere. If you think your computer might be infected just perform a scan with Kaspersky and that should solve it!

I use Avast and I am 100% protected. It is complete with real-time shields (ex. when you open a certain website, it is first scanned before you can actually see or browse it) I suggest Avast for you. You can download it free in the internet :)

hey waks,, you dont need to install any firewall programs because your internet router have it. just take a good antivirus like NOD32 like me, i always involve in surfing, downloading, p2p, torrents but i dont have any problem like you do... i think you need to change your antivirus or update/upgrade it.
