What stoping you to be successful?

Napoleon Hill of 'Think and Grow Rich' said that in order to be rich is to be your own boss. You can't be rich working for others. You end up making your boss rich. I think of setting up a bookshop. But I need capital which I don't have. I ended up making my boss rich. One day I will have the capital.

When people tell you that you can't, they often mean they can't. The only one who can stop your actions is YOU!! Listen to the advice of others but walk your own path. In business, always do your homework first.

I feel - '[i]where there is will, there is a way[/i]". If you really wanted to start business, no one should have come between you and your business. Your husband discouraging you, should not have bothered you. If I wish to accomplish a task and am determined, no one can stop me from completing it.

i think it is better to hear your husband here..... you know doing business and earning is not an easy thing do........ you have the courage to do but there need some experience ..otherwise you will stop your business at the fist lose.....

What makes me hesitated from being a successful person is that I'm scared of trying.I'm so worried about fail and disappointed by others. In fact, no one would focus on you everyday.I know that, but just cannot pass through the obstacle from my heart. It is related to the experience, knowledge and ability to face and solve problems. I'm not mature enough to bear it .Sometimes I considered my thought to be naive. I believee most of people have the thought about doing business on their own. But why some of them finally failed or just stop on thinking. It's not that easy to be success. Except what I mentioned below, we also need money, forersight, good mentality,responsibility and patient to run into it. We need to consider seriously.

in my point of view, what stopping is our own self, we can do things that others can do if we have guts to do it, if we have determination and if we have courage and preparation on whatever may come along the way..what's the hardest thing is only at the beginning, sooner or later once we have started something we dream of doing, we will realize, we've been a long way already in reaching that goal..

Starting your own business is a big risk. Depending on the business, it involve involving some large sum of money. So you need a business plan before starting. 70% of businesses go bankrupt in the first 5 years. You don't start a business unless you have worked for a boss in that sort of business and learned all about it. Investing money in something you know nothing about is very very risky. But at the end of the day, it is all about having a clientele. No clients, no business.

i always feel that we are free to pursue what we want. however, there are things that we need in order to succeed in life. and these things are not freely available for us. that's why we need certain factors to be able to set up things. for example, some amount of money to free us from financial constraints, support from our family and friends, unwavering determination to succeed, and faith in ourselves and other greater ones. what's stopping us to do these? our fear to actually make it. our fear of failure. our fear of being alone if our family and friends abandon us.

hi soleya the little critic that sits on my shoulder and whispers. oh that is no good, just trash, nobody will buy your writing. You are pathetic and I listen. Then it just seems all so stupid. I wad it all up and toss it into the waste basket. I want to write and get it published but have a hard time being too c ritical and never satisfying myself at all. So sometimes I shut off the critic and just go ahead and write until I have it all down on paper. Then I g o back and start editing. sometimes I find some writing I am really proud of and I focus on finishing that.

Hiya soleya, Really and honestly I would not know is stopping me as such. It could be a number of things that have stopped me from starting my own business or getting a Job outside the House. I know two of them already but maybe deep down maybe I could be a bit worried about how to go about it and start everything up. I suppose that might be it.

Simple and straight forward, the only thing that may be stopping me from being successful is if i cant make it to live in America or England after doing my studies.

Being successful is all people ever dream of. Successful in business, in love, in career, and in society. As for me, I believe I am quiet successful in my career, if not in love and in society. Like you I want to start my own business, little ones but my own, but the shadow of failure halted me. I don't have a back up in financial, if I fail I would be on the street. That is mostly which stopped me from trying. Who knows, in near future I found my gut and do it despite of all the threats.

hi ,soleya.i think before starting a business or several ,you must know clear about these questions 1.you must have done the market survey beforehand ,whatever the market is real or electrical.... 2.you must be good at this or these areas ,know well about the procedures to make a successful deal 3.you must have after-sale service or trouble-shooting ,or will affect your credit(if you make your business as an agent ,just ignore this) 4.run with small business ,do not need a lot of money ,thus can verify if the business can run normally(even you lose money ,you can learn experiences ,and can repeat again because only a little money) ,if you are an agent ,just ignore it 5. customer.... i think these 5 above may be the improtant things when you run a business , i have lost my money from a restaurant ,but only a little money , and last ,i have to tell you ,maybe others can be successful ,but if you do that ,things will totally different ,so think it over ,if you think you can ,just do it ,ha

I think a lot of us want to become entrepreneurs, but don't have the knowledge, skills, or the connects to get the ball rolling in the right direction. I have always wanted to own my own business, but never really knew what type of business I would eventually have. I have thought of all sorts of things to do but, didn't think I had enough passion for them to really get them started. I have quite a few stories regarding what it takes to start up a business, but in reality, I truly believe it is much harder than what is led on. I think just getting the necessary permits and licensing would be so hard, no to mention building rapport and relationships with clients and getting your name out there. To me, those are some of the challenges that you are faced when thinking about starting your own business, not to mention the startup costs....

Whats stopping me from being successful, well I'd say nothing stopping me but I'm being slowed down for sure, because there are a lot of necessary elements needed to be successful without them success will take much longer. my life is very differnt then most and I think its because of that I haven't been able to easily do things. All that aside it takes more then ideas to truly become successful as most of us already know, it takes money to make money it also takes determination, and I have plenty of determination, but not much in the financial department, also it helps to have a strong support system like people around you that are capable of helping you even if only for good advice because knowledge is key to truly being successful. lastly if you dont have that good support system you have to be fully willing to do it all yourself, and if your at a disadvantage already it will be extremely hard believe me, but I'm not someone who gives up that easily and I believe that someday success will come my way.

So, in your situation, do you think that your hubby is the only obstacle that stop you from being successful? Well, it is your vision, and your courage, whether or not to start this venture. If you think that is a great opportunity, never stop yourself to make a shot. You will never know.
