Oh, my I can't stop eating.

Since this terrible Hostage crisis that happened last week. i got so stressed out that i never had before. yeah, i am able to sleep a bit early now but some how i have destroyed my only diet, which i no longer follow. which is No eating after six in the evening. I will get my pay out and use it to apply but some how i had a failed weight loss management. i really lacked motivation on this one. but some how if i don't eat, the left over will be for nothing but another stinking trash, specially RICE. What should i do. how can i regain my confidence in loosing weight!! IT'S 2010 aahhh!!

letran hi from a fellow mylotter and a diabetic. do you really want to join all us diabetics type two? really? just keep on stuffingyourselfand you will nudge mrtype two as overweight with its fat cells will block the insulin guided sugar molecules to feed your muscles so you will now have free floating sugar in your blood stream. this will cause excess thirst like you have never had before, blurry vision, needles and pins in your feet, oh the worst having to practically run to the bathroom to urinate every little while. those are some of the most common symptoms . also if you overstuff and become diabetic you will have to take some sort of pills or insulin to control your blood sugar level.so either shape up and get slim or get really fat and join us diabetics, which is it Letran? did I scare you a little? seriously overweight is the most common cause of type two diabetics. everyone should be checked yearly for diabetes as its symptoms sometimes mock other things and nobody gets checked.Sounds like you are stressed out over thehostage crisis and you need to destress, not by eating though. How about some sort of exercise like fast walking or what ever sport you like might help destress you a bit. Rice is really high in glucose producing. Maybe you really should get checked for diabetes just to be sure.

Hello hatley. Oh, no. i don't think i wanted to go that far, really I've been trying my best to be healthy. well, trouble is, am having a far sight problem, then i also urinate in little while. but i guess not as complicated as you did. i don't want to be diabetic, that's for sure. don't worry i'll do my best to walked again tomorrow.

I don't know if I can be much help since when I am stressed, I can't eat..But what I do is I can listen to my favorite music or some kind of exercise which is really good as long as you don't over do it. I walk or dance away the tension, though I find when I am really stressed, I need to vent. Mylot is a good place to vent, but sometimes you take a risk of someone replying who is not compassionate of your feelings..So maybe find a fellow Philippine to vent about your stress..You might just find another friend who needs to vent as well..:)

Hello Carmel, Oh, when i am really sad frustrated and tired, i don't eat also. but the trouble is that i eat a lot after wards. as if i had never eaten in days. i guess i should just exercise again to get rid of that stress, i know it worked once. supposed i should exercise again tomorrow.

With everything that is going on in your country, no wonder you have gone off your diet. It sounds like you are sinking into depression which isn't good at all, Letran. Maybe it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor about this and maybe get some meds to help with it. Walking helps thou. It helps energize you and lift your spirits some while helping with the weight loss. I hope you can rise out of this funk your in.

Hello blackbriar, How are you? how did you're surgery go? yeah, i never knew my whole country could be condemn for this. we didn't went hay wire when China was guilty of melanine poisoning in their toys or second hand products that came from them. this is just a bit too much.

oh..RICE.., was the reason why I was overweight my entire teenage life.., and I know how you feel when you said stress makes you eat more and gain more weight.. you have to gain control over your appetite or else it will be the one controlling you.., and it will be frustrating.., and I am so thankful I was able to stop my stress response to eating.., or else i would have been obese by now..

Hello deve, So, how did you do it? i can't sacrifice eating rice though. because i remember my brother not eating rice but he just eat a lot of viands and other stuff to replace his hunger for rice. but still this day he's still not loosing weight. all that weight increase was because he was in states eating alot

Hello again!!! sorry it's been awhile before I was able to get back with you.., what i did before.., was minimize my rice intake really gradually.., and replaced it with biscuits.., i don't go near the dining table at mealtime so that I won't be tempted... and when I got used to it.., I started eating oatmeal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.., and biscuits in between when I feel hungry.., and my body adjusted.., You will not weight immediately of course.., It will take like a month for you to notice a difference.., You should be patient.., and it took me a year to lose 15 pounds...haha..

You hate Filipinos for the fiasco earlier this week, right? Then should I hate Chinese people for the lead poisoning and melamine contamination wherein not 8, but hundreds, maybe even thousands have suffered. Is it right to blame a whole nation for a mistake of one man? If you do then you are most certainly DENSE. No arguments. Just an opinion.

I know what you're going through. If you get into a habit of eating a lot of food, it's very hard to get back out of that habit again. The best thing that you can do is to cut down bit by bit. For example, if you have 5 items of junk food per day, cut it down to 4, and then 3, until you get down to none at all. If you can't cut things out, at least replace them with slightly more healthy things. Every little helps, so don't think that just because you can't cut things out completely it isn't worth the effort.

Hello Gemmar, It's really fortunate that since we are a bit short on money, i wasn't able to buy junk foods. but i don't do nothing all day. i just do other house choirs to make up with the all days of hard work. but i guess it's not enough when i started eating since sometimes i couldn't help it.

I can relate to you! I have gained some weight and I know I could lose it if only I could be motivated to do so! I have issues with my family, I get stressed out and I snack on the wrong things! I can’t blame others for my lack of willpower though. I know that all I need to do is eat smaller portions and never eat if I am not hungry. If I can motivate myself to do that and go walking I know I will lose the extra pounds. I just have to stop being upset about other people and start looking after myself! I know what you mean...Aahh!!

For me so that you never eat the left over food estimate your rice mini only cooked so that no waste and you can't eat much.

Ohhh I didn't know that you are that affected on that issue. I mean of course I am affected as well to the extent that I am watching the news and on youtube. But as what I've understand the terrible hostage crisis made you destroy your diet. In my case I am going to do my meal plan so that I could manage the diet that I really want.

hi, i'm also like you. Each time i say that i will try as from Monday.. :( Try eating Brown bread instead of rice and in case you are cooking rice, don't cook too much. Measure it first or put the remaining cooked rice in the refrigerator.To keep you motivated, put a big poster in your room or in your kitchen. Select something like a slim model, or someone obese. I'm sure it will work. All the best dear.

i just wonder if that can helped me. next time, i might try walking early in the morning rather than the diet alone. but thanx for the advice. i do still have a tread mill though

yes,i can't sleep without eating because night food should taken in our life.before sleep 2 hours we should eat.but night we eat limited amount of food.we more taken fruits at night.it is very good for our health.so we take more fruits at night.

u need to take care of your health. whenever u r getting free time. at that time do some yoga.
