lucky u,driving could be pretty dangerous sometimes, like u can kill people by hitting them without reporting in beforehand, lol.Well such thing seldom happens in China cause we've got strict driving training and testing system, including one month's theory study, two months' practise of driving skills, but the good thing is u only need to pass all exams and test in two years.Have u ever been to China? The grand world exop in shanghai?Do u like yummy Chinese food, like hot-spicy sichuan dishes?Looking forward to your response.

I was so nervous the firs time I experienced driving a car. At the time I got my permit, my family had a black ford truck that we've had for ages. I have bad depth preception to begin with and to be up high in a truck, it just felt to big for me. I feel like I couldn't see over the edge of the truck and didn't know how close I was to various objects in front of me. I remember my hands shaking and gripping the wheel for dear life. Eventually I had a few driving classes with an instructor, would drive around for 2 hours or so. I was still nervous as heck, but realized I felt more comfortable driving a normal sized car, not a truck. Eventually received my first car on fourth of july, 6 years ago. It was a honda accord. For the next month and a half I drove from work with my stepdad and he was teaching me to drive. There were a number of moments that were scary, doesn't help when you get irritated and the other passanger is as well. Took the driving test, failed the first time, but finally passed the second time. It's amazing how different you feel driving a few years later. It's a lot more relaxing. I don't have the same car, I bought a Honda civic last year that I enjoy a lot. I take good care of her, and enjoy driving around. The one weak spot is parking for me, well more so parallel parking. I never really practiced, the only way I can parallel park is if I have a LOT of room and can make it in no problem. If it's a tight squeeze I won't even bother. Fun experiences are part of the driving experience.

Well, speaking of trucks,u cannot drive a truck, bus or passenger coach until u've got a driving license for more than five years. And there are many qulifications needed for a truck driver too.U are supposed to have a strict training and testing system instead of a merely instuctor since there are so many cars in the US.

There is no such thing as a Perfect Driver, not even for golf ;) I remember reading the driver's handbook when going to Korea (south) and there is a note that literally says, not verbatim as from memory, that IF you make eye contact with a stopped vehicle's driver, then he has the right of way. haha remind me to steer clear of your path ;) Eric

it is always hard and scary and something else during the first time. you'll get use to it. it was nerve racking (sort of) since i had one hell of a an instructor within my father. but because of his harsh training, people seemed to be amazed knowing that i could drive. i think it's just because i don't look my age yet.

well, for me, its because you're driving a car bigger than you, i mean, the car you are driving is an suv,,,

I had a great time when I first experience driving. But I was also nervous of course. I didn't have so much problem because I was practicing inside a subdivision. Meaning, less people and less vehicle. So I am free to commit some mistakes. I got pretty nervous when I tried to go out the streets. I got used with the clutch after 3 days.

my first few months of driving my first car was full of fear. much more when i got stuck up in a traffic jam and had to follow the cars ahead of me in slow motion, almost everyone in those vehicles ahead of me were looking my way as my car would make a loud revolution every time i moved forward slowly, trying to avoid from bumping the car ahead of me. i must have stepped on the accelerator and brake together. one driver even smiled back when he saw that i was a woman driver. i overheard him say, "a neophyte huh?". the driver of an expensive car behind me noticed the hazard lights blinking consistently on my car's tail. he made sure that his car was not following mine too close. during that time, i wanted to get out of my car and leave it in the middle of a traffic jam. it was such a shameful scenario. but now i no longer fear of being stuck up in a traffic jam. it's just that driving in a traffic jammed street is so stressful that i prefer to be a passenger than be on the driver's seat.

:) The first time I drove a car was with my teacher. I remember I was completely stressed and so he took me to a road where not many cars go. But it was completely tortuous and I drove for 15mins or so following two people riding bikes... ;)

the car could hardly go forward that my timing between accelerator and clutch were very bad, you can add the brake too. It was so frustrating at first..eventually, I did managed to reach my destination had just moved the stick shift up to 2nd gear,oh,it nearly overheated the engine. at that time i had sweats all over my body...how could I ever forget that? But now Im a better driver. :)

the first time i drove a car my maximum speed was 30km/hr and the people behind me were swearing at me . it was quiet frustrating, i wanted to speed up but my adrenaline was just not allowing that to happen . well... nothing that bad happened but after that i didnt pick up my car for 6 months and now i happily drive my scooty (bike)and i feel like a bird on it . i am planning to get back on my car driving lessons but not any time soon . i ill first try becoming friends with the road and the traffic .

hehehehe,,, my speed was between those 30-40km/hr too,,, but i never thought i'd almost cause trouble with that speed,,, hehehehehe,,, and the worst i've done is acceleration on a curved road,,, hehehehe,,, i was so tensed that i forgot where's the brake and stepped on the accelerator instead,,, ^^
