Hi there.. I have been trying to use mylot as my new search engine and I found it informative.., but all of a sudden I was interrupted when I tried to search something else.., This popped up... "We have noticed some suspicious activity for this account. Please try your search again later." What could have caused this? any ideas? I've got no clue...=)

I've encountered that a couple of times before. It could be that admin has noticed that we're just searching random things or the same things over and over again. Or it could be that we are searching for a lot of topics but we're not really exploring the items that comes up on the search list. Sometimes the message appears even if we're not really meaning to "abuse" the search function, because sometimes we just have to search a lot of things. It's happened to me too. The first time it happened to me I was waiting for an e-mail that maybe they are gonna suspend my account or something like that. But they didn't. Glad about that! Take a break from searching and try again after a few hours. I use the search function in mylot first before I use any other search engine. It pays, that's why! LOL!

It happen to me too when I was doing my research online and I need to use the search to look for many thing and yet suddenly it pop up the warning. I believe this is the way mylot trying to avoid user from spaming the search to earn rewards. To avoid this, you will need to use it separately but not many search at once. Mylot have a rule that you have to use the search in a natural way, I think the natural way is you do not use the search too aggressive. You will need to separate each search for some period of time, and that will not bring up the warning...just try it...

Hello deve_annrn, I am not sure why this happens, but it is common thing. I guess you are searching for the same keywords or similar words repeatedly? If that is the case then they might take it for a spam. But i am not sure. Try searching for a wide range of things and see if that gives any report.
