In what way has internet helped you?

I am so thankful for the invention of internet! Communication system has drastically progressed beyond my imagination. I remember way back then that I still have to go to town to call my loved ones and pay for every minute of our conversation.
Now, I can communicate with any relative or friend abroad through the help of social networking sites.
Before,I still have to go to the main library to do my research for my reports.
Whenever I want to try to cook a new dish, a simple click in the internet will do the trick. Raising and getting as much information on raising my baby is no longer a matter too. Anytime of the day with the help of Mr. Google, I can ask anything under the sun. With the help of e-books, I can also save some amount instead of buying a new one. In this way, we can also contribute on saving the planet earth.I can also get as much updates on current events about politics and even showbusiness. I can simply buy airline tickets online and it really really saves so much time.
I know there are a lot more!

hello johnmike! so do i, i am thankful for the invention of internet and access world wide web. since internet is the INTERconnection of NETworks, we can now explore anything under the sun. and as we all know that internet main purpose was for the department of defense, and became wide for the use of library for the scientists studies and explorations. and now, even a three year old child can now access the internet as long as he/she knows to use the mouse. we can also communicate with our love ones abroad, do assignments with the help of ebooks, blogs and discussions/forums. games online, earn online and so on. :)

At the Internet I can express my feelings thru writing blogs, communicating with other friends and interacting with some online activities. I am relieve of stress in surfing the net. I can relax by playing internet games. I met online friends who became so close to me and and treat me as their real friend. I felt given extra importance by friends for their messages, for their concern and for their love. At the internet I earn extra income.

Right wiggles! I think I forgot to mention that internet has helped me communicate with my clients abroad. Email has also played a big role in my everyday communication at work. I should say that I myself have already benefited from using this technology.;)

The Internet is a very good venue of social interactions. Because when you have queries just post on sites like this and you will have your answers from people all over the world. You can make friends from the internet. And we can chat with loved ones on other countries, its an easy way to communicate. The internet helped me in so many ways from being able to chat with my family from other countries to online shopping. Also, I am thankful that the internet was invented because I can do my research with vast sources from all around the world. The kids of the next generation are lucky enough to have the internet. Because they can have all the answers they have all wanted. Also, it can be a source of income. It can also be a place where you can share ideas and feelings like in this forums. The internet helped us make our lives easier.

The internet has made alot of information easily available to me. It seems the more time passes, the more easier it becomes to get information off the internet. I have news, documentaries, articles, and discussion forums at the tip of my finger tips.

Being connected through voice, text, pictures and videos from anywhere in the world.
That's really awesome. We never thought that would be possible two or three decades ago.
This is perhaps just the tip of the iceberg. The internet is just amazing. It's real potential has not yet been fully realized.

Internet has helped in sooo many different ways. First is by having communication. Through yahoo messenger, and other social networking sites, I am able to talk/chat with ym friends anytime and anywhere. :) Internet is also a way to generate income even in small amounts only. And lastly, internet has helped me a lot in my studies. I've don several researches already here without experiencing any difficulty. :)

Through the internet, it has become easier nowadays to look up anything. Whether it is on the job, to check out a personal parner or just to look up simple causes of allergies, which all would have been time consuming tasks and not to mention costly tasks,if the internet had not been there. So, I would say ya, the internet has been a very useful invention.

Internet has helped me in so many ways. From communicating distant love ones, internet surfing, video viewing, downloading soft wares, to killing boring moments by the help of social networks and chatting... I can't imagine a life without internet. That's why I'm very thankful for its invention. :)

The internet is very useful in more ways than one. It is very useful to each and every one of us, I use the internet mainly for research purposes, also as a means of communication. The world is now a globalized society resulting in a level playing field. With the advent of technology the world has become very competitive and fast paced, so if one is not tchhnology savvy he or she will be left behind.

Internet is a BIG BIG thing to me and my family. For me personaly internet is like an a enormous sea of informations, answers for 99% questions, new ideas, social life (50% becouse I'm not a freak who has no life in normal world) and other. Fun, entertainment, pictures (many many). Inernet is power (in many ways) of the future

Internet is very useful for me. I chat with my friends, doing online business, E-mail to my friends and relative to maintain contact, even I send SMS through this.
If my family members asked any doubt to me, suddenly I browse in the net and get the solution for that doubt.

Internet helps me a lot. It serves as pond of knowledge. All the things can be read on Internet. You can also find your friends, shop online, online banking, keeping an eye on the latest trend, you can review the latest movies, music charts and a lot more. This is very useful especially with the students.
