Staying in one place or moving in search of another place? Some prefer living in one place because they enjoy a harmonious relation with their neighbours & environments. While other prefer to move from one place to another because of various reasons, a better job, house, community, or even climate. What do you like staying at one place or moving around from places to places??

For my entire life, I have stayed in the same general place, with little traveling around. Mostly, ninety five percent of my friends and family are rather close by. Therefore, by moving around, it is going to uproot my entire life. It would throw me into some different environment that is unfamiliar. Therefore, I am going to stay right where I am a lot of the time. I can really understand why people move around. Change can be good a lot of the time and it can lead to some very great things. However, moving around is just too much of a change for me. Therefore, I am going to stay where I am for the future. Of course, you can never tell what life will bring. Tomorrow everything can change. However, I am going to think about this in terms of what I plan to do today.

You have only one life and get the maximum out of it. There are so many things for you out there to explore and know. If you stay at one place, you are setting a boundary to yourself. All you will get is a superficial picture of the outside world. I have moved to different places for different reasons but have always welcomed the change as it always gave me opportunities to learn new things and encounter new challenges. It always helped me in boosting up my confidence and expand my thoughts. So go out and explore this world. It's open for you..!!!

it depends on my mood. at times i love staying in one place just reading a book or watching the people around me and be amazed of the diverse culture i am surrounded with. But sometimes i love to move around, this in itself is a way of exercise for me and a way to meet knew people and appreciate the beauty of the different scenery in that specific place. Roaming around would help me appreciate more the culture, traditions, history and custom of a certain place. Thus, there are advantages when you are just in one place, being comfortable and cozy, while the thought of adventure of learning new things also thrills me.

I prefer to stay at one place. I easily get attached to a place and don't want to leave right away.

People are naturally afraid of change. I would like to stay in one state. That would be the state of change. I want to travel all around the world. Live in a new city every month.

I don't like moving around although it seems very attractive because everything will be new to you. However, you have to take some time to adjust to it. And the most difficult is moving takes time to pack and unpack your belongs. And this is so troublesome. I love China

Sometimes moving around becomes inevitable in our search for greener pastures. And it feels just as great to be able to return to a place we call home. I'm glad that I've stayed long enough in one place while growing up to consolidate some of the values, cultures, customs and traditions where I belong.

Being a social animal, every man has the desire to settle to a place according to his choice which is suitable for his job. Sometimes he has to live in a place for his job which he does not like at all. But still he is bound to live there for his earning & ultimately tries to settle in a place which he can afford and is also the desired place for his living.

I would love to be able to remain where I am, it's nice to be able to have memories and remain within that certain special place especially now I have brought my home but things sadly change and although I haven't moved yet, chances are that I probably will at some point. Stay where I am for now, quite a few years will go into our family home.

I usually like to stay at one place, especially when I love it and find myself hard to leave it, but when it comes to the changes of my work, then I will have to move from one place to another like what I have done. Now I live on campus and love the quiet environment here, especially on weekends when all the students are gone. Then I can sit next to my laptop next to the window and when I feel tired, I can have a good look at the beautiful river view outside.

When I was in university, and living in a dorm in the campus, I used to love the weekends too. It's like the place turns into a sleepy town. People sleep in, and when they do go into the campus stores, they dress down as if they just rolled right out of bed. A river view would definitely be a plus!

I much prefer to stay in one place. I grew up in one house all my life and when I moved I bought a house and lived there for 13 years and then sold that house because I was upgrading. The next house I bought I lived in for 9 years and then I sold that house to move to another province, where my husband got transferred. It was difficult for me to move each time because I love to stay in one home. Now it is really not good for me because since I moved to another province I moved from one place to another. We could never afford to buy a house here because the prices are just too high for us so we have to rent. So with renting we were consistantly moving, about every three months, because my husband was never happy where ever we lived. He hated paying rent but he just didn't get it, if we couldn't buy a house, we had to pay rent. And to rent a decent place it costs money. He always wanted to pay as little as he possibly could for rent so we were always moving to somewhere cheaper. We lived in some pretty bad places. I ended up leaving him after 12 years because I just couldn't stand the way and the places we were living in. I now live with my adult daughter and we are working together cleaning houses and we are making a really good living and we live in a beautiful place and we have lived here now for just over 3 years and we have no plans of moving any time soon. Cheers my friend, Chris

I would prefer to constantly move. Moving from house to another, in the same neighborhood. Maybe do flip on a house and earn some money while doing so. But I haven't done that. Housing rates here where I am is unbelievably high. It's a bit expensive and I couldn't afford it still. Maybe next year.

Well I like staying in one place, not only because its a pain to move all your stuff around yet again, but also because on some cases you've already made good friends in that area and it would be sad if we leave them.

i grew up as an Army Brat. that means i moved from place to place with my parents because my dad was in the army. So i like the feel of a stabel home. I like knowing that this is going to be my home for as long as i want to live there.

I prefer staying in one place. I've already experienced moving from one apartment to another many times when I was in college. I can say that moving out is one of the most tedious work I have done.

i live nomadic if u would like to know :) i am such a boring person. Living at one place for a long time could make me stagnant. So i decided to move one place to another.

I like staying in one place. It's just because I know already my neighbors and the security and friendship are already built up! But if there will be a time that I should move to other place because of some reasons then I should choose first a place where it is very secured and a better place to live in than before.

I enjoy both. But all in all I prefer to have a cozy house to settle down permanently, making it comfortable and adjust all the arrangements according to my likes. While at the same time I prefer having vacations in other places to the fresh new scenery and life experience. Or, renting house in another place for a period due to work reasons. But, whatever, I hope there's a house waiting for me wherever I go, and I know once I get back, I can just throw myself in, knowing that it completely belongs to me. waazula.com

I believe that there are three types of people: travelers, nomads and stay-at-home personalities. Travelers enjoy seeing new places and new faces but they prefer to travel for a short time and come back home. Nomads are constantly searching for the best place to live, they are inclined to believe that the whole world is their home so they head to explore it and enjoy everything that comes along during their journey. Stay-at-homes prefer to live in the same place they were born. Speaking about me, I inclined to believe that I am a nomad type girl since I enjoy living in different countries and knowing different cultures but staying not too long in one place :)
