After getting married i totally for my family. My husband is always out for his work. So he needs me to look after him. And my two children also need me. so I have no chance to live for me. But i stay at home in the morning alone. I take one or two hours only for me. I don't want to be disturbed in that time.

Always for yourself, but being nice to your family, without letting them run your life for you. It is the only thing that really makes sense!

Ultimately, I think you should try to do both. When you have a family you have responsibilities and you're part of something bigger than just you, and that's important. But, you haven't lost your individual identity - or you shouldn't have. Living for your family may mean some adjustments in how you live for yourself, but I don't think it's a matter of you can only pick one.

Hello maggiewinner, I think right now, I am living for my family. Most of the time, I only think about my husband and son and always make it my priority. I less care of myself and my needs and I don't think it's a proper way to live your life as a married woman.

Hi, For me, after I got married,I will live for both myself and my family. I have the responsibility to takecare of my family and sametime, I have my life partner to takecare of me too. Of course, I have to perform my duty as someone's wife and once i have a kid,I have to be a mother. My responsibility is getting more, but I do love my current life. For me, my family is my everything and they are very important for me.

this discussion is very great, I think no one can live without the family, so I live for my family. for example if I don't have a big family father mother grandpa and grandmom and uncles I will no need to find a job hastily and worrying everyday and I will stay home lone time than go to work but I can't because them , eventhough I don't want to make a;lot of money to give them but I don't want them feel dispoint on me. so I hard work, find job, keep adventure, to do most of things that may be don't like by myself.

I think living for your family is living for yourself. I think it's all in one, one in all. You have to make sure you are okay to take care of others. And taking care of you family makes you happy and makes life meaningful.
