Hi, all, I been trying a new thing for the past week. Each morning, I put in 1/3 cup of pure lemon juice into 1/3 cup of water, and sweeten it with a heaping spoonful of Splenda. I hear it's supposed to help with weight loss (along with proper eating, of course) Have anyone else heard of this or tried it?

Don't try drinking lemon juice and water alone, as it will make the productions of gastric juice much greater. You might experience severe heart burns as well.. Its always better to put some lemon juice, a spoon full of honey and some water into a cup. Heat it for a good one minute until the honey dissolves and you are able to mix it well. I've heard lots of people benefit from this concoction. The person who introduced this to me was from India. But countless other people are benefiting as well.

Okay, thank you guys, I think I'll do that, besides, a hot drink is a lot more soothing than gulping down a cold sour drink! .

Hi. Masihi. I have heard that adding lemon juice in water, will aid in weight loss. I have also heard about the Hollywood Lemonade Diet too. This cleanses the digestive system that supports in weight loss too. I had a bottle of this once. Or a bottle that was similar to this. I had to throw it out because it had expired. If this is proven to work, I wish you so much, success on your weight loss goals, Masihi!

Hi Even i have heard that lemon juice early in the morning helps to reduce weight. Some even say that one shud add a tablespoon of honey in it. I havent really tried so cannot say it for sure whether it works as far as weight reduction is concerned, but it surely is healthy and good source of vitamin C.

That is actually indeed something that could be interesting to know, or the consequenses. And if it works, who wouldnt like to loose a pound or two in a healthy way? I have not myself tried this sort of diet, but I will be following this discussion of pure interest. Lately I have been writing some articles based on weight loss or tips on losing weight. And when it comes to losing weight it is not only about the diet, it makes it easier if the goal follows the following requirements which I noted down in this article; http://healthmad.com/fitness/set-requirements-for-food-and-exercise/

No not this one but In India we generally use lemon juice with a cup of hot water and one or two teaspoon of honey which reduces fat and I have personally seen people shedding weight in short duration...but I have also heard that when you start using this it brings some loose motion like phenomenon with it..so try to know more or start with small doses first to see what happens.good luck
