Hope this does not come under goal posts as I am not celebrating just sort of surprised that finally after after one year and a half I
actually move one whole point at this rate by anohter two years I
will be 93? Will not do the happy dance just yet but am surprised
it did move. I know a lot of users here do not do any rating as I guess they think the rating fairy rates all of us, not so folks we rate'
us so if we do not rate we all stay in the same slots never mov ing at
all oh yes the tens will all say it does not matter to them well now whn if I ever get there again I will say okay it does matter to me as it helps my earnngs, all of you money hungry people get to rating as if your ratings go up so do your earnings.

I said something on a discussion the other day about how nice it would be if we all gave a few extra plusses and moved everyone up as a gift for Christmas. It would cost us nothing at all but would make many very happy.

If there is one person whose star and rating I would want to see moving up that is you Diana. You have relentlessly contributed positively here and it boggles me why you are still not moving up. I have lost trust in this system and therefore am not bothered anymore even to worry about my own status although I was at 10 sometime ago!

@ mysd I have quoted you a few times since I have seen that discussion you mentioned. As I hope all members could be gracious as well. I too am taking part in the gift giving season. So cheers my friend (+) and hope to spend another year along side you on myLot.
@allknowing I once was a ten a few months ago, now I go up one point one day and one point down the next, at one time it made me so dizzy that I try not think about it much. But it does sadden me a bit I must admit.

hi fellow mylotters I w as reading gifts discussion just now and she asked if I had rated recently and I had to blush and say I got so carried away the last two days I forgot to rate and here I made a
discussion about it and am as guilty as everyone else so now I am going to go back to all my friends and do just that ;it only takes a few seconds to do it. and most eveyone I meet deserves more pluses so I will get busy too.

Awww Harley dear, I DO rate and I rate every single one of you, including you because you're a dear friend to me. I've been trying so darned hard to Ger your star ratio to go up but mylot must've made it all the more harder but I will. OT give up! I promise! HUGS!!

I gained a lot of points in the past month and reached the red star, then I gained one more point a couple of days ago then lost it the next day.

hi apples yes it really does as mylot explained we take your rating into consideration when we tally your earnings so keep rating each other. its in the mylot information somewhere. It is important to rate people here on MyLot and I wish more people would do it. It only takes a second to do. I know I always rate people as I feel it is important...if it wasn't, they wouldn't have it right? Well congrats to you Hatley! Regardless of what your number is...you are in Big Ten in my eyes!!! :-)

ah thanks gdesjardin I think so too not about getting a blue star but about rating. and I realized in the past two days I did a lot of posting but did not rate and thats awful as I am saying we should all rate and I forgot to do it.shame on me.

Great! This means a lot of users rated you positively. I've noticed that the most posts you have, the harder is to move your reputation up. So maybe that's why it took you one year and a half to move one point.
I'd like to think that this is a result of MysD's idea about making a little gift for everybody, by using the + button, in the Christmas spirit.
Let's hope it will take you less than two years to get the blue star, I think you deserve it.

Hi lovely lady...feels good eh mate? mine went up too and I've been waiting for it to do that for an age. I dropped from a 10 a couple of years ago and went to a pink which I liked...it looked great with my avatar but my earnings dropped drastically too. I worked up to a yellow pretty quickly then to this red but I have stayed here like forever. I went up a point about a year ago and again just now. I'm seeing no change in my earnings though.

thanks carm I know I am treading on thin ice here but gee its been down to fr eeZing here in sunny southern california. I have actually had the little space heater on every night as it got really cold in my room.now back to the subject I am really going to start rating everry one as I did the same thing the last two days so busy trying to make my own no. on payoff that I forgot to rate all my friends.

The people who aren't rating their felling Mylotters are actually hendering the members move up. That is really sad. I am certainly glad that back when I was still moving and striving to reach the 10 point that my fellow Mylotters were with it enough to do their part. I hope they will start doing their part.

hi I am now a lot more conscious of rating just as I used to do it asa a matter of habit as really if we all do not rate nobody will ever move up
at all. I am so sorry I have got so behind on commenting as that is not like me usually.

Congrats on going up one point! I have been rating for so long, never got out of the habit, and can't see how one can move away from it. Isn't it a requirement? I know when I quit tagging my responses to save time I got a note from Admin. saying I had to. I am surprised that people who aren't rating aren't getting these notes too.

I was a ten for about 3 days then all of a sudden my points dropped like rain falls. I have never rated anyone negative and do spend a great rating positively. However I have been stuck at for almost 3 months where one day I go up and then next day I go down. Sometimes I feel that it makes me dizzy as it certainly does cause disheartening as I contribute a great deal here especially positively.
But you know how that is where we have trolls and jealous members that insist that we cannot escalate for some odd reason and I am glad I do not know exactly who they are as I would certainly not like them.

hi hardworking glad you wentup a point too and hope it stays up; I do think some newer people think its okay to rate someone minus if their opinion does not agree with the newvbies and that is all wrong.mylot'admins even says so you do not minus someone just because you
do not agree with them. I have seen sometimes how you have gone to great lengths to help others here like when cash gopher was new. Yes I think if I knew who was malicously minusing people I would be really furious.

Good that your star rating still moving after 37000 ratings.!!! when i was at 2500 with my old account mine wasn't moving a tall... Hope you able to get that Blue soon. And i am hopping that for me too.. I don't know about others but its surely matters to me.

I think it is fun to rate the others discussions. Before I do not used to comment or use to rate the different discussions. Now a days, I used to rate as many discussions as possible and comment them. I think it is good to know that our earnings also goes up as our ratings go up. Congratulations for earning higher rating.

hi elicbxn thanks so much. it was when I first came here and I got a ten pretty quickly but three jerk trolls took it down to 5 ober night and mylot did catch them and tossed them out and told me they spent 24 hours minusing every thing I had ever p osted.They moved me up to an 8
and i did he rest wih the help of my mylot friends. so I am a 9. so now I am goingto really rate everyone so we can all move up. it does affecgt or earnings too.

yes once you get into hig numbers it takes a lot to make it move up or down, that last part I like lol. yes a lot of people do not realize tha mylot admins actually uses our reputation number to figure in our earnings so if we remember to rate it will help everyone.

hi asyria oh yes it really helps to move us up when we rate and it helps our earnings as they take our ratings into consideraqtion when they tot up our earnings as they ask us to be sure and rate everyone. oh yes right now my own son is ou t of work and here mos of my social security and ssi are taken for rent each month so I do not have a large budget.
