how could you earn from blogging and where to start?

hi myLotters. been actively studying how some people have been making money using just a computer with an internet connection. for a beginner, the first sites that gave way to my seeking for ways to make money online is through ptcs. however, i find them a little bit slow in progress. of course, i did not try to invest in them as i'm afraid of taking that risk, so i started with no investment whatsoever. didn't get to have any direct referral as i'm only into the rent-referral strategy. after a month or so, even though patience pays off, it doesn't pay off much, so i want to know how to start earning from blogging, as i've heard of many better things in there. much better things than in the best legit PTC sites that i've heard of. i haven't written a blog about something, so everything would be very helpful..
