I know e-commerce or online shopping is fastest growing activity but till i want to say this is not possible for middle class person because cost of the goods are so high in online shopping. Credit card is necessary for online shopping. I know you will also agree with me share your view on this.

I disagree with your view completely because shopping online is cheaper as there is more competition and you can shop around and look for bargains. In both shopping online and offline you will find certain products may be cheaper in different places but online shopping has certainly saved me a lot more money than any of my offline shopping.

Hey friend you are saying you are fully disagree with me but at least little bit should agree with me because rate of some goods are very high

I didn't agree with you because I think generally that products bought on the internet are usually cheaper than from purchasing them in-store I'm not saying every thing is cheaper online but most goods are nowadays . I see products in store which are being sold for maybe two or three times of the prices than if I had of bought it from a company on the internet . So I really don't have to agree with any ones opinion just like you don't have to agree with mine which you do so here .

What??? That is ridiculous. I buy things online because I get them cheaper than the shops. Most of the time, I pay with my bank account as I don't like to use my credit card unless it is necessary. True some online shops accept only credit card payment, but there are always ways to pay through your bank account or by getting virtual credit card or prepaid card.

It is a common misconception in India, especially among the middle class. Most of the online shops are now having the options of paying with your bank account, credit card and there are some offering an option of paying by Cash-on-Delivery too. ebay is the most common ecommerce site, and ebay India has the Paisa Pay in which you can pay by debit card, credit card, net banking, etc. The most important thing to know when shopping online is do your research. That is the key. If the online store is not giving you enough information, call them up or email them. And if they cannot satisfy your question, probably not a good idea to buy from them. If you are buying electronics goods, make sure that the seller is offering manufacturer's warranty, NOT Seller's warranty.

i agree with your view to an extent but not completely. there are lots of offers in online shopping which reduces the prices a lot when compared with offline shopping. moreover a bank account with net banking facility is much sufficient to do online shopping.

yes yes what ever u said online shopping is somewhat confusing for me also what is the pay pal account i dont know still this time. How can i earn money through pay pal account or online accounts still i dont know now i am so many difficulties in online accounts. Credit is compulsory for online accounts. In middle class they never pay the that much of amount even they pay but they didnt get the good result online shopping is best but they are the facing the tax where they buy in online. If they buy one example i am telling if the cost of the product is higher and tax will be somewhat higher what they can do they do nothing to this online shopping.

Online shopping is much easier than the traditional one. We don't have to travel to shop and just wait from home to have your goods delivered to your door. Besides, a lot of discounts is being offered in this method of shopping.

i don't know the average income in the country you live but i would have to disagree. i can find many good deals by searching online. one example would be looking up a product on shopzilla.com which shows a list of best prices for that product from many websites. i'm also a big fan of amazon.com which i can find many good prices on products. in my opinion i can find better prices online and perhaps much better at times then driving and buying them at stores.

In my view, it depends on the thing you would like to buy online. I am a college student, but I like buying books online cuz it's cheaper than in the book store. But if one person likes buying anything online, it's impossible for middle class person.

I totally disagree with you. In ebay you can buy things that are half the price in the market and we need not pay using our credit card, in fact there are a lot of payment options that are too easy. YOu only have to trust the seller by checking his reputation. There are other online sites in my country that accept bank payments and they are all legitimate shopping sites. They have never failed me and the products are really good and at a cheaper price. That's why i prefer shopping online than offline when price is a consideration.

For me it's possible because here in our area, a lot of middle class are using credit cards and debit cards. Online shopping is very rampant because there's so many discount sites on the net. Example of discount/promo sites are www.ensogo.com and www.groupon.com Mostly of these middle class that owned credit cards are employees because banks are having special offers to employers/companies who have a payroll account or checking account with them. There is an automatic approval of your credit card application if you are an employee of those companies.

Dear Friend I don't agree with you. I am also selling online for last 3-4 years and from my experience i can say that middle class can easily afford buying online. Sites like ebay offering least price on branded item. Also you can pay via debit card, net banking, and even by cash on delivery in selected cities. So the time has gone when it was the option for elite class only.

I have found several places online that sell at cut rate prices. The problem is finding sites that have little or no shipping fees and those are few and far between. The shipping fees can be more than the item purchased. But I have found some. I buy used books from a site that sells at reduced rates with no shipping fees and the books are of good quality. A lot of their books are library copies. Some of their books are mass market paperbacks that just did not sell in the stores and are in pristine shape. I've also bought from other sites that sell products with minimal shipping fees.

Most of the time, I find cheaper things online compared to the stores in the real world. Also, a lot of middle class own credit cards from what I know....

I dont do much online shopping at all. I usually just try to find the things i need at the store. I did buy something at the begining of this month for a present for valentines day and my boyfriend wanted it during christmas but i wasnt able to afford it so i bought a pocket watch for him online and he loves it so much. I buy things i know i cant find in a store around where i live online, but if i can find it in a store and i dont have to pay shipping costs then i will buy in in the store as it would be cheaper to just do it that way anyways.

No, online shopping isn't necessarily for rich people only. I don't consider myself rich, but I buy a lot of things online. In fact, many things are a lot cheaper to buy online rather than in brick and mortar store. Eventhough you still have to pay for the shipping, it's still a good deal, especially if you don't have a lot of time to shop. You don't have to own a credit card, you can also use other payment method like bank tranfer, money order etc.

This may be true if you live in India. But I live in the United States. My income is just barely over the poverty line and I do a lot of shopping online. If you're going to go to luxury sites, then, yes, it's expensive. But there are thousands of reasonably priced websites. And I don't have any credit cards. I use my debit card and nobody has ever refused it.

I don't quite agree with your opinion. First, online shopping is cheaper, you can save lots of money. Second, you can compare one product with another easily, so you can easier to choose a better one. Third, you can buy things at home, saving time and energy. But if you are addicted to online shopping, you must be careful. It may cost you much more money, you can't image before.
