Have you sometimes think that some of your ailments arise due to your workloads?

Good day Fellow Mylotters, There is a saying goes, that, you are what you eat. Meaning, if you eat too much carbohydrates and take a lot of fatty foods, the result will be unhealthy for our body. Likewise, if we indulge our self much towards our work, this might cause stress. And this stress might somehow bring or really can bring an ailment to our body. And there are times, even, we are not indulging our self much to our work, the work itself and its environment somehow brings stress to our body. And this stress will be the start of some body ailments. Thus, I can say, some of the body ailments that I feel now, arise only now. How about you, do you already have that ailment? Or it is just only arise only when you have work and assume that position?

Aira! I agree with you that our ailments are connected with what we actually eat and nature of our job. If we have a field job, we get tired and inhale lots of pollution etc. and sometimes become allergic and catch cold and cough. However, on the other hand working on a desk job and sitting all day on a seat makes us accumulate fats on our body. Therefore, everything is required in moderation. Have a great day! dpk PS - Did you receive my PM?

Good day dpk262006, You are absolutely right, everything should be treated moderately. However, there are times, it is easier to be said than done. As pressures and deadlines are always present in ones position. And, yes, I received your PM. Have a nice day to you friend.

I hate stress at work! I usually get pimples and skin rash when I work too much. There was I time where we spent 15 hours of work and I went home like a boxer who got lost in a fight. I think ailments and other sickness may occur when we are overly doing something which in that case our work.

I already got ill and depressed and I assume its going to be worst if I don't pull myself out from these workloads. I shall take a rest and continue later if I could not do it at the moment. I shall do it later.

I worked in my previous company 2 months after I got married and I worked there for more than a year. During those times that I was there, that was also the time I really wanted to have a baby but I guess the reason why I didnt have a baby at that time was because the work i have there was to stressful not physically but emotionally.

Well, I can tell you my personal experience. I have anemia ever since I was 12 years old. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes worse, but there it is. So I see my hemathologist twice a year, just to check on it, see if I have to keep on the same medication and such. A few years ago, I quit a very stressful office job I had. And I got another job, in a different place, doing mainly the very same tasks, and sitting behind a computer 10 hours a day, just as I used to. This was around october. March the next year it was time for my checkup. I went to the doctor, and he was surprised to see that after 4 years of staying exactly the same, my red blood cells had gone up quite a bit. He then asked me what had I done differently this time. Nothing I answered, same medication you gave me, didn't take vacation because I switched jobs... "You switched jobs? When?" "Well, now that you bring it up, it was 5 months ago..." "Then that's it. That's the reason. Your new job." He said. And he's a very well-known doctor and his specialty are blood deseases. So I believe him.

Healthy lifestyle means healthy body and environment to add it up all together then, that gives a good life to an individual like you and me... I am doing my work in such a way that I could benefit from it wisely to earn money and achieve outstanding healthy living, thus, I do management that I would not be having a stressful endeavor of doing it in day up to the next day. Even in the office I really concentrate myself in working out certain things that I could finish before or in due time perhaps. Here, I do really avoid thinking of conflicts on my health aspects like the stress or foods and bad effects of chemicals or even toxins. I do exercise like walking and jogging too, so my mind is relaxed and I also feel free from illnesses on the other hand. Although sometimes I'm thinking that those reactions of over-work and foods would eventually harm my body but I avoid of thinking it since I believe my lifestyle is healthy and that made me safe and healthy I guess.

I do think like that when I was working. Work and stress brought my body down. hahaha... Sometimes the workload itself is not that stressful but the number of hours I give to my work has an effect on my body as well. Sometimes I stay up until 3 am just to see the request of our partner from abroad.
