Does plastic wrap around the midsection really help you slim down?

I have heard of this quick slimming idea for a little while. Does any body know anyone who has done it?

I don't think that that would cause you to lose weight. Though like the first person said it makes you sweat alot so I guess it would help you to lose water weight.

No, I don't think it makes us slim but make you sweat a lot instead.

Fooy, just fooy, it is. Impossible to target weight loss in a single part of your body, even with diet and exercise. one loses weight allover their body, not just a single part. Building muscle is a different situation though.

It won't actually make you lose weight but it will make you appear thinner. The same thing can be done with a corset though so if you are considering using plastic wrap, just buy a corset. Over time you will save more money and you will sweat a lot less. Chances are with a corset on you will eat less and in turn lose more weight since it is squeezing your organs together, which sounds awful but its true.

My cousin tried it. It does not work. It is an old wives tale. Trust me the only thing that works when trying to loose weight is good old fashioned exercise and dieting. If done right the results will keep you motivated.
