I don't think Captain like Dhoni had ever be in cricket history. The way he takes decision is very much appreciable and make the game in his way. Since the day he became the captain of indian cricket team from that date the winning percentage of indian team has gone high and high might be he is the only captain who has won such a number of final games...really he is marvellous..So what you think about his captaincy..?

Yes of course Dhoni could be the best captain in cricket history because he has achieved as a good captain in all forms of cricket by winning the t20 world cup and world cup and making India first place in test cricket and also winning IPL 2 times and Champions League one time.

Dear friend, As from those results as a captain Dhoni has proved his capabilities. May be he is one of best talented captain India ever had seen. Moreover at those crucial situations Dhoni had also helped the team to emerge winner. As a run taker and a expert wicket keeper.

i feel that he is one of the best captain in indian history. i feel his strongest point is that he never fear losing and that attitude brings the best out of him. i have seen him lead the team from crisis situations and when the captain of the team is in such a mood then it lifts the mood of the whole team and forces them to perform. his decisions are really out of the box and sometimes that confuses the opposition and that is something only a person can do when he has nothing to loose. there were other great captains like Kapil Dev and Saurav Ganguly. but dhoni is a different class of captain which we needed to get to the top after the second place where Saurav Ganguly managed the india team to get to.

I will say Dhoni is the only one captain who has made history by winning the so many tournaments. Under his captaincy India has won the World cup. I don't think that no one has this much of potential to work with the players and make them to play according to the situations. I like the way he behaves with each and every one players of the team. He is very cool and calm and he won't say much to the players because he knows how to make them to play well.

Dear Siliguri, Dhoni is a great captain. But, I would like to dis agree with your opinion that there has been none like him. I must say any captain is only as good as his team. Azhar as a captain had limited resources. Ganguly as a captain turned a timid Indian team into an aggressive one. Lets not forget Kapil Dev and his team of 83. Kumble as a captain had the best resources which he transferred to Dhoni. And yes Dhoni does make full use of his team (THANKFULLY). But, Dhoni does make a lot of tactical blunders. It is just that these blunders go unnoticed because the team has been winning more than losing. But this does not mean that he is not a good leader. He remains calm under pressure and avoids limelight in victorious moments. He also leads form the front in pressure situations. These are trade marks of a great captain. But yet again he is not the greatest; he one among the greats and we are lucky to have his for sure... :) Share your views... Balu
