I heard a very sad news a boy who was 14 yrs of age died due to road accident. I know road accident is common incident but why parents hand over the vehicle in teen age to their child. The most sad thing was that his mother is born the child after 15 yrs of marriage and now her child live 21 yrs and died. His house and shop is near near and his father was tell him today I have some work so you will go for open the shop and when he was going on hero honda a autoriksha was coming behind his vehicle and push his Hero Honda he falls so far the people admitted in the hospital and inform his parents but before reaching the parents he died. Autoriksha drive run away. I hate this type of parents those not understand 14 years is very less to hand over the vehicle in the child hand. According to Govt. rules no license is issuing before 18 yrs of age. But parents are purchased the vehicle for their child in the 13 yrs 14 yrs age.

You see theirs no need for you to feel sad with the story,a lot of children dont have parents, wwe are all luvky to have our own parents with us,you can find other friends but you cant find another set of parents, recognize their importance cuz you will only recognize how they mean to you if theirs no time to do it ,start to day at this very momment -you will find out how they love you so much.that they are willing to give everything even their life.without even knowing that everything might be a cause of loosing.

yes parents do fall in to false prestige and do let their children show off sometimes in front of others, it can happen that they might think as it is a nearby distance so they might not had thought that incident would had happened. Its a very bad luck to such parents who loose after bringing up their children to certain age and depart from them with accidents on road. Government do has rules and regulations who is perfectly following them., who is regularising them.some times we personally should be responsible for somethings for our ignorance.

Yes friend parents think child is going only in short distance but they not know anything may be happen with the child. Govt rules should be follow by parents. Thanks for response.

you are right parents should understand their responsibility and do not give vehicle to the children of this age but it is also true that it is not guaranteed that people who are above eighteen years would not make accidents.i think what we need to do is teach the students traffic rules and regulations at early age we should include it as a subject in their study it will really make a difference.

That is such a sad story. I guess parenting is hard but then parents should always think that kids are still kids and they should have been taught the value of responsibility. Sometimes, things happen and maybe, what happened is a valuable lesson to be remembered by parents and kids in all walks of life.

This is such a sad story. I don't understand why they would purchase such a responsibility for their child, but it doesn't sound like it was the young man's fault either. My son was seriously injured in an automobile accident over two and a half years ago...a parent's worst nightmare is getting the call that your son was in an automobile accident and had been airlifted to the hospital...

Well rules differ for nations and whilst 14 is too young. Age is just a number. Responsibility is a personal thing. YOu can be 15 or 30 and still be irrespondible dont blame the parents blame the kid. Here in England the legal age is 17, 16 in the States.

Parents should always keep in mind that giving their children vehicle should really be given much discernment. The age should also be given emphasis. It should be given at an age where the law permits it, so that when anything happens , it will not incriminate the child.

Hi surekharathi, It is really sad to know about the poor boy who passed away in the road accident. Unfortunately today's teenagers are so adamant that they don't listen up to their parents. And as you rightly said it is parent's responsibility to keep their children away from motor vehicles till they attain an age of 18 at least. It is really a loss which was irreplaceable to his parents. Wish and pray for his soul to rest in peace. Pray for his parents to make them bold to face the situation. God Bless calpro

That's really sad for a parent to lose their only child after 15 years of marriage. What was the father thinking ... asking the child to ride a bike when he doesn't even have a licence? I really feel for the mother of the child.

To many parents often do not understand their children regardless of age. I think that there is no such consequences must be friends with their children to make them talk to uss the problems and things that concern them and their experiences. This will stop some of these incidents, those consequences are not pleasant for anyone. However, a child of 13 years to drive a motor vehicle how it is possible.I understand that the child might like to have his parents have bought him but why should it kaar way. Everything depends on the parents need to think about the consequences before deciding to carry tool.Have a nice day!
