Fundraising Ideas

Does anyone know what Crowd funding is? How does it work? What do you do to get started? Do you know of any fundraising ideas that doesn't include the traditional fundraisers like cookies dough, candy, candy bars etc. Thanks!

Crowd funding is just raising funds from people who aren't normally investors. Their cash is usually given in exchange for something symbolic (a sponsorship note on a web site, etc.) rather than something material. You'd be surprised what people will give their money for.
