Are you making money with Twitter?

Are you utilizing twitter as a money-making tool. There are several sites that you can use for advertising like mylikes, sponsored tweets, retwt. Are you using those? Have you been paid. I have an acct balance rising in sponsored tweets and have earned in mylikes also. My mylikes has slowed down because I am now not getting paid to tweet so I d not promote it as much (because they are not paying for my first initial tweet). How about you? Are you earning with twitter? If so, how. I also am a member of retwt but I am going to discontinue that account. The payout threshold is too high (in my opinion). I think it's $100. Thoughts?

I heard about this already in some sites, but for this we want more than 500 follower in twitter,i think.but it is too tough to make that much follower,so only way is that to forget about the earning there..,

It is not so difficult. I got my first 1000 followers in about a week, using online sites -- mainly twittman and twiends -- and following back.

Hi topffer, I think you are too lucky to get 1000 followers in about a week. But besides twittman and twiends, what are the sites you are using for the purpose? I also like to know more about your site. What's your site's name. I am willing to visit it.

@Topffer, I had not heard of twittman but I also use twiends to increase my following and once you get over about 1k, the money making options for twitter really open up for you. It's not that hard to grow your following but you have to be diligent to reach your goal.

Hello, I am not using any social working site. But I am interesting to know how I can earn from these sites. Indeed 100$ payout is much high.

Well you can set the site up to earn but you will need to build a base of followers. This will take time but it's worth it if you research, can be consistent and work on it daily. Once you have a base of followers, then you can begin to earn from it. I suggested seeking out friends so that you could get the feel of Twitter-land. There is always a learning curve with any of these sites and your friends may be able to help. You could also just research and do all of the work on your own too. Many people do.

I have accounts in all the above mentioned sites but it is very hard to earn money. I have never been paid from this sites. Instead I have a very good PROFIT SHARING site from which you can earn daily from the profit shared by the company on daily basis. I you want any details you can Private message me.

Thanks for the info. I have been paid from mylikes and I am building in sponsored tweets. The site that you seem to be referring to seems like a hyip, is that correct? I am really not interested in those because many seem to turn scam pretty quickly.

I earn a little money with twitter in task sites -- $0.50 to $1 per week -- but I have never used retwt or another site specialized in sponsored tweets. A $100 payout for twitter seems very high : are you sure that this site pays ?

Would you kindly explain how to earn money with twitter in task sites?

That amount was for retwt. I do not use it as I think the cashout is high. I know others have used it. I have been paid from mylikes because the threshold is $2. I am still building my earning in sponsored tweets, where I think the threshold is $10 but it's easy to use so I don't mind and I am about half way there.

No! NO ONE "makes" money; you make your time more-valuable, and people are therefore more-apt to give you gifts (mostly in the form of 'money,' a gift that THEY have received for making THEIR time more valuable). Is the time that you spend on Twitter made more-valuable for your being on those paid-to programs? Is your friends'/followers' time made more valuable?

I appreciate your candor. I try to limit my contact with individuals who are judgmental, negative, etc....and sometimes that means being alone and I'm ok with that. Money is a valuable resource that we all need to survive in the world. Without it, life is a constant struggle. However, I do feel like there is an abundance available and that there is more than enough for all of us, but in society, there is a strong poverty, "I gotta get mine" mentality that does not foster cooperation or compassion. We are all given a new opportunity each and every morning that we wake up. We can choose to scrounge, to complain or we can keep pushing toward something better. You can probably tell which side of the coin I fall on......it is up to us to see, recognize and share in the bounty that is here and all around us...... Feeling deprived? Go out in nature and take it all in until you can find something, anything, to be thankful for......I think I may do this in a few minutes....whew, may take a nap first though......

I'm a little bit bitter about it, I guess, because everyone who 'works for money' feels that they-themselves are somehow better than those who do not 'work for money.' Being able to 'work for money' is actually a privilege people should show appreciation for by giving to we who have to work for balance, -breathing, -thinking, -speaking, -writing, -happiness etc.

I responded to your discussion about a week ago. Since then I was on vacation returning yesterday. I had not received a likes from mylikes since I was gone plus I had over $2.00 in my account which had not been transferred to paypal. I searched mylikes thinking that maybe the site had gone bust. I was shocked to find that my account has been suspended. I was not given a reason. Several possible reasons are listed for suspension but I was not given a personal reason. I was unable to contact mylikes or even go to the FAQ page because I keep getting the message that my account has been suspended. I wanted to update you on my mylikes experience since we discussed it last week.

Hey, thanks Bostonphil, one of my accounts was suspended and I have not received an e-mail from them lately......hmmmmm. I am not sure what is going on with them. It was fun money for me and as I stated earlier, I was no longer being paid by them to send out a tweet, so I was not sending as much with them as I was in the past.....hmmmmm.I will check around and ask a few friends about it. Thanks for sharing the update and hopefully, we can get some other responses from people who were using it......

I am wondering if they went belly up. My likes seemed almost too good to be true. It was easy money while it lasted. I had about &3.00 in my account when it was suspended. Mylikes got to keep it. If you hear anything more about them, I would be interested.

I do use Twitter to make money, but not using a sponsored tweet site or situation. I use it to let people know about the sites I do use to make money, allowing people to learn more and sign up.

I would say the best thing to do is get on there and have some fun. If you have friends there, that's a great place to start. You can also keyword search to find people who may have similar interests as you. Now, if you have something that you just want to promote, you should just open an account and use some of the tools mentioned here like twiends to begin to build up your twitter account and you can begin to send tweets about your products or services. If you have a blog or website, you can tweet that too. There are many tutorials available to help you think about how you might want to start using twitter for cash. In this post, we have talked about sponsored tweets, which is another option also.

Yes you can make money with twitter only if you got thousands of followers who just hear what you say. Else you can;t even spell a word. No one will mind you. If you got enough followers then you could easily convince them for a new product or something like that. Then you can earn enough money.

To use twitter as a money-making tool, I believe we need a lot of followers in order to do that. Otherwise, nobody will see your tweet. And some of the sites would need your to have a minimum number of followers before you can use them to make money. I had joined retwt quite some time back, and I barely managed to acquired their minimum requirement of at least 300 or 500 followers. But the earning was still very slow, looks like not many people are interested in those links. I had stopped using it before I could even reach my first payout, as I find it quite impossible for me to reach their minimum payout amount.

Yes, we are lucky that retwt is not the only option and there payout is way too high. I gave up on them too but there are others that we have discussed in this post like mylikes and sponsored tweets that might be more to your liking. You may also want to use some of the tools mentioned to build up your twitter account followers so that you have the opportunity to make even more.

I am glad that you have recognized some valuable tools here if you want to make money with twitter. It just takes a little time and diligence. You could even have a separate account for tweeting. It is all up to you. I like talking about the different ways out there on the web to make money. There are many ways if we open our eyes and look.

I am with mylikes. I do not remember how I heard about mylikes but it may have been from mylot. I have been with mylikes maybe a couple of months, possibly a little longer. And I have noticed that it is slowing down. At first, I got paid every week. This happened two or three times. Not a lot of money, but still every week. I have been paid maybe two more times but it seems that it is taking longer to earn the money and to get it sent to paypal. It is no longer every week. However, I remain with them because it is a fun and easy way to earn a little money weekly or almost weekly.

Yeah, I to was making money like clockwork on a weekly basis and it has slowed down considerably. Now, I am not getting paid for my initial tweets so I do not send them out as often. I haven't checked in with a lot of people about mylikes but I wonder if the buzz has slowed down. Hopefully, we will get more user responses.

Twitter is a great promotional tool, I agree and I think you can do both. I do not think they counter each other (sponsored tweets and aff links) especially if you are already tweeting out offers anyway.

No, I love Twitter, but I don't make any money on it. I haven't really tried either, though, since I have always been using it just for fun. When it comes to making money online, I prefer other methods.

It's a fun site! I like it too! What's your twitter name or we can pm each other and look for each other there too. For me, it's not a major earner, more fun than anything and people truly say the darnedest things on there.....good grief!
