After joining college entrance examination,my father bought me a computer to reward me success step into the college.then i spent a mount of time to play computer,reading ,chatting,surfing,and etc.Until now,i still remember when my father carried the pc to my home what is my reaction,i glared it for a moment.Because i have not touched computer until i am stepping into college.what a pity.in the high school,when my friends talked about the knowledge about computer ,i did't know it so the only thing i could do is to hear what they talked.And now,i had one,i was so excited that i can't sleep in the night.
But now,i am familiar with pc very well,i regard it as my friends.when i am free,i will open it and do something with it.Computer make my life more colorful.and i do learn something in the computer which i can't study from books.
in a word,i like to play computer very much.LoL.

Hi there iamsummer, congrats! I remember that I've gotten a computer back in high school late compared to my classmates and I even have a computer with a lower performance. Then, that same computer was what I used since then until I finished my college (almost my college classmates back then were carrying their laptops). So, you can still finish your studies even without those high-tech gadgets nowadays. You should not be dependent on the technology because its your learning that matters most. :)
And oh, don't be addicted so much on that computer. You might be one of those addicted to online games and that is a big bad influence while studying. So, be sure to do it just right ok? :)

hi friend.yes,it is very easy to addict to online games but i am not one of them.in the lesiure time,i like to reading novels or playing cards.but never become addicted to it.the life in the internet is colorful,i really like it very much.thx to your suggestion.

Oh that's good! If you have free time, you can always explore the world of computer and internet. It can not only give you entertainment but also knowledge on almost any stuffs. You can learn and have fun at the same time, cool enough? :)

Hey,congratulations.I remember that the first time my father bought me a computer when i was seventeen.And then i found that it is indeed wonderful when i surfing on the internet.I could still learn lots of things that could not happen in real life.LOL,have fun!

I learned to use the computer since I was 15 way back in 2000. And the funny thing of all is that I learned using a computer by playing games on it. I usually play PS1 before and I admit I'm a computer addict and later found the potential of PC for gaming. It's kind of funny but it's true.. First I'm just watching my friends playing the game counter strike and tried playing it. Until I was able to know how to navigate the computer and know how to open programs and later do some word processing and use the internet.

I was always in love with computers. I remember when I was little the first computer I played on was my cousin's computer. I was probably in elementary school at that time. All I did was color pictures on her computer at that age though. I didn't get my own computer until around my last year of high school. Before I got my own computer I loved playing on the school's computers and on my cousin's. I would practice typing.
Before I got my computer I would read a lot to kill time. After getting my computer I have stopped reading as much. I still read, just not books. I'm usually reading things on forums, or articles online. I didn't know how I survived without a computer all of those years after getting one lol.
I use my computer for everything. I watch movies (Netflix) and television shows. I keep in touch with friends and family. I play games. I did coursework when I was in college. I listen to music. If I have a problem with something that I bought I can go online and look up solutions to fix whatever is wrong. It allows people to have a certain amount of independence and it makes life so much easier.
I'm glad that you got a computer. It makes college so much easier. Information is available at your fingertips. If you want to learn about anything you can find it online.

First of all I want to say congrats to you because you have bought a new computer. Yes now in these days computer is our requirement. Because now every important works handle by computer and also you can use internet if you have computer. And you can also do many presentation and projects if you have computer.
