Phone Hacking Scandal; Murdoch may be Recalled by MPs

The news is that James Murdoch may be recalled by MPs for further questioning because a letter was written by a jailed journalist who claims hacking was widely discussed at the News of the world, meaning the bosses knew about the phone hacking all along. What is interesting to me here is that it seems the politicians are a bit slow in dealing with the phone hacking scandal. It is as if they are a bit afraid of the personalities involved probably because they had a hand in helping them win elections. I doubt if they would treat the matter the same way if some other ordinary citizen was accused of hacking people's phones. More of the story here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14541848 and http://uk.news.yahoo.com/files-cast-doubt-murdoch-hack-evidence-094642332.html

Trying to unfurl the wrong doings of anyone in this world is cake walk and the very fact that some cases languish is ample proof that they are prolonged deliberately to safeguard the interest of those that are involved. This situation is not new and it happens everywhere.

I guess it will be on the headlines for a while and then disappear completely. Some people are really powerful.

In India this type of a situation is more a rule than an exception. All what it does is it upsets people who believe in law and order and I am one of them.

That's the case with anything like this...the uppers get off with just a hand slapping while the common person gets the book thrown at him! Very typical!

It is really unfair. I guess not everyone can get their rights all the time.

Since the beginning of the scandal I could not believe that the bosses did not know anything about it. It's hard to believe. If I'm director of the big company it means that this is my responsibility what my employees doing and how moral or immoral this is. In my opinion Mardoch new about it. The same Brooks.

They must definitely know something about it. I am sure they have to ask their journalists the source of the stories they publish.

its an interesting development. i feel a bit sorry for clive goodman, the journalist who got jailed, its no surprise that he is ready to reveal a few secrets. the pressure seems to have gone off the metropolitan police, because of recents events, i have seen suggestions, only jokes please note, that maybe the riots were a deliberate plot to turn attention elsewhere, but i'm sure thats not the case. but the story seems to have come back, and we shall see where it goes now.

Yeah it seems the guy took the fall somewhat. That is an interesting theory regarding the riots. These days it is hard to just dismiss them as mere conspiracy theories.

phone tapping became a hottest part in politics, it should be done, every politician should fear to do illeagal things, all over the world many of footages and scandals are making sleepless nights to politicians, not only on electiontimes it should be widely used on normal periods also, it warns every politician.

But as it happened most of the people who had their phones tapped were innocent people, many were victims. So I guess it is not right to do that.
